This time, I didn't eat at the buffet venue because I was in the corona, so I took it back to my room and ate. Manza Kogen Hotel that stayed without checking anything. I didn't know it was a Prince Hotel system. This room is a shakunage building. The size is 20.９㎡, but it is a family room with 4 beds, so it is quite bad to use alone. It is clean because it is renewed, but the interior is cheap and it is like a training camp. There are also folding desks in the empty refrigerator, electric pot, tea set, safe, and closet. Wifi is also available for free. This hotel has no air-conditioning facilities, so I was a little worried about the heat, but the height of 1800 meters in September. It was okay if I opened the window. There is a shower room, but I didn't use it because I went to the hot spring. Amenities include toothbrush sets, shaving, shampoo ＆ conditioner, etc. Merritt staying here is hot springs. The four source stone garden open-air bath can be entered 24 hours and the quality of the spring is great. The first mixed bath in life! Women are bathing, but men are only towels, so they tend to be polo ('') There are many women, so it's a little bit quizzical. But early in the morning and late at night, I was able to occupy the hot spring alone. You can use the hot spring of Manza Prince, and there is a free shuttle bus, but I went to the hot spring of Manza Kogen Hotel! Maybe you don't have to go. The most unfortunate thing is the meal. I didn't expect to read any word of mouth, so I could eat it. There are sashimi, tempura, roast beef, etc. in Japanese and Western dishes. It looks like a lunch, but it can be eaten at all. I put alcohol free, so if you think of it as an alternative to ate, it is OK. shrimp marinated and thick cut bacon matched beer. Breakfast is also on the homepage with omelette. Even if it is a prince system, there are two kinds of bread. The price is cheap even if it has two meals, but it is too high considering the price of only meals. Still, the hot spring is the best! I felt that I should make the rooms and meals more luxurious.

Although this hotel had one of the cheaper room prices (for the duration that we were staying), the overall experience was average / slightly below average and on hindsight we might have splurged a little to upgrade to a bigger room in a more central location. The room was very small – after clearing out whatever furniture we could (table was packed in the cabinet where the bedding was kept and most other things had to be stacked on top of each other to maximise space), there was barely enough space to lay out two mattresses right beside our luggages (note that you have to set up the beds yourself). We spotted some strange black spots on the futon covers which deterred us from using the futons. We did, however, appreciate that the room came with a small refrigerator, a small key-operated safe box and a working heater. The walls and floors are thin, so you will hear footsteps along the corridor and (if you are unlucky, as we were, to have a room next to the toilet) gurgling sounds from the plumbing system. Bathrooms and restrooms are shared. The communal shower area on the first floor has a small bath (could accommodate approximately 3 strangers, any more would be uncomfortable), but the water is still and I'm not certain if it was actually from the hot springs. We were grateful that the usual amenities were provided (toiletries, body lotion, hairdryers). There were other onsens nearby which were open for day trips, but we were turned away by the prices (bearing in mind that we had just travelled from onsen heaven, Kusatsu town). Location-wise, while we were given a free shuttle ride from and to Karuizawa Station during check-in and check-out, we had to find our own way around the rest of the time. There are some attractions in the Naka-Karuizawa area, but the main highlights are nearer to the Karuizawa Station. The walk from the hotel to Naka-Karuizawa Station (one stop away from Karuizawa Station) takes about 10-15 minutes, and the street lights can get rather dim by 7pm and are almost non-existent by 10pm. Alternatively, there are buses that ply the area, but the bus fares were nearly double the train fares and accessibility of information was an issue (it was hard looking up bus timetables online). Another alternative is to rent bicycles from the hotel at ¥1000 per day. Service-wise – hit and miss. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, others not so. A few of them were able to communicate in English. Food-wise, there were some decent options (e.g. Harunire Terrace), but not always budget-friendly and most close by evening (sans restaurants, with pretty steep prices). There is a 7-11 about 100m away but consumption of food in the store is not allowed. It closes at 11pm. All in all, if you're fine with sacrificing some creature comforts and travelling longer distances to save on accommodation, this hotel could be one of your considerations. But if your budget is not the main priority, there may be better options els

The view is satisfactory in the room on the sky blowing side. There was white smoke. There seem to be multiple baths in the large inns nearby, but this is a men and women change system, each １. The washroom in the indoor bath is windy and a little cold so as not to be sulfur addiction. The bathroom with an open-air bath ２ is hot and warm. The color is milky white and slowly soaked. The hotel itself is aging, but it is relatively low price, you can stay in the tourist spot, and you can eat with color 々 at the Viking Restaurant, so it is ok even for three generations of travel from children to elderly people I thought it was. We stayed in one of the rooms with a private onsen. It was a large room with two beds on the floor and a dining area. There was also a tiny makeup area/table on the side that I truly appreciated. The in-room onsen was large and comfortable. It had a large window that opens which brings in the refreshing cool air. The Skintheque toiletries were luxurious and perfect. The large shower was also a plus for us. Food was unbelievable. I was able to try new tastes and flavours I won't soon forget. The breakfast chicken with tomato and onion was a surprise. Dinner's abalone was also a revelation. My DH is a tall and large man. We truly appreciated the length of the bed, the size of the shower and onsen. The only problem is that the hotel staff is not very well-versed in English, though they do try their best.

Enjoy your free time all to yourself in the midst of nature in all four seasons

In front of the bus terminal, by the municipal parking lot, the first floor is Lawson, and there is a dining place next to it. It is about 5 minutes walk to Yubata. The rooms are on the second floor, so I do not recommend it to those who have a staircase. We stayed in a Western room suite. The room was large and overall brown and it was very fashionable. The tea confectionery was very delicious. The bath is put in except when cleaning. There is only ２ washrooms, but there are not many rooms, so if you don't match other guests, there is no problem. A key locker is in the dressing room. Free breakfast was very good! Not too much and not too little. The fee is also appropriate. When you tell me that you will be a city bra at check-out, you will receive a 2 hour service ticket for the city parking lot. Because there is no parking in the town, it is better to stop by car. When we returned to the car every luggage, it was around 10 o'clock, but there were already many cars waiting for full cars. It was very good, so I would like to stay again.
