Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tsukuba Reviews

I was first allocated a room with heavy smoke even though I am a non-smoker. We booked for 2 adults, but was given a single room with just one pillow. The room is clean, although a bit old. Great view of Tsukuba when we looked out of the window. I am thankful for the view.

I stayed here while my family was taking an exam. It was a good choice as it was conveniently located for access to the station and for shopping. The room had a spacious approach and the layout of the bed felt spacious when lying down, so I was able to relax during my stay despite the tension before the exam. The only disappointment was that the reservation made through the Trip.com app was not what I expected, and an additional fee was charged at check-in. I was told that this is common when booking through overseas sites, but this was something that could not be confirmed on the reservation confirmation, so I will hesitate to book again.

I stayed in the ladies room. The cleaning was thorough and I felt comfortable. There was a Nano Care hair dryer, foot massager, bath cream, foot care sheet, and face pack, so I was completely relaxed. As for improvements, when I checked in, the air conditioner in the room was not working and the refrigerator was turned off and not cold, so I would be happy if both were turned on.
