Man Eaters Camp is a beautiful accommodation located near the Tsavo National Parks. Since we had rented a car, it was easy to reach. The pool and lodges are situated by the Tsavo River, allowing for frequent wildlife sightings. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the food is good, the bar offers a wide selection, and the staff is incredibly friendly. After checking out, we discovered we had a flat tire. They helped us replace it, which required a trip to a garage. We are immensely grateful for their assistance. We highly recommend Man Eaters Camp and give them 5 stars for their friendliness, facilities, and cleanliness.

Rooms where pretty and the balcony to the river was amazing. Toilet and shower not so much but clean enough. Stuff very nice. Food was average and the kids didn't have much. Major issue the proximity to the main road and being able to see the bridge from the dining/pool area. Killed the safari vibe. Also having ti get onto the main road for quite a bit to find the gate to the Park.

We didn't spend a night here but stopped by for lunch as we were headed back to Nairobi - Joanne at the reception gave us a warm welcome and took us around the museum which had antique stuff from the time when the railway was being built. She also showed us the tents not far from the reception. They are nice, spacious and all of them face the river. What makes it even nicer is that they have wheelchair friendly tents. We were lucky to see 3 elephants on the other side of the river just going about their daily things. We were served some yummy fries with fresh salad. Staff are friendly, they made sure we were comfortable and helped chase away notorious monkeys. If you head to Tsavo from Nairobi for a long weekend, I would recommend staying a night at this camp.

Just got back from an amazing stay at Man Eaters Camp in Tsavo East, and wow, what a gem! 😍 From the moment I arrived, the place felt so warm and welcoming. The tents were super comfy, with beautiful views of the river 🌊, giving that perfect mix of nature and relaxation. The staff were beyond friendly and made sure everything was spot on 👌. It was such a peaceful getaway, with the added excitement of being right in the heart of the wild 🦁🐘. Honestly, if you’re looking for a safari with a touch of luxury, this is the place to be! 🏕️✨

Exclusive settled along and above the Tsavo River, Man Eaters is a place for people who love a secluded stay. There is exactly nothing around but wildlife and the river (and the old train station). The restaurant: sometimes you can choose from a little menu, sometimes they serve food from the buffet (depending how many guests are at this place). There is a Pizza inside the Camps boundaries (okay...there is not a real boundary or a a fence...), but this was not operating while we stayed here due to the lack of tourists at this time. The food is really good, nothing real spectacular but really good. The Staff: Always friendly and always helpful. Fun Fact: they want you to be guarded to you your room (tent) because there might bei wild animals around. The Rooms/ Tents: they offer everything that is needed. Shower, toilet, fan, mosquito net, a little, private terrace above the Tsavo river. Everything is kept as clean as possible. Of course there are some bugs and beetles around. Especially after rain you might see and feel a lot of them. But the rooms are save! The setting: fantstic situatted along the Tsavon River with many nice views into the wild. Game drives: The organise different types of game drives. Half day. Full day. morning and evening drives. Tsavo East an West. It's up to you and your budget.

I had an incredible experience at the Man Eaters. Staying so close to wild crocodiles was both thrilling and memorable! The clear skies at night offered a stunning view of countless stars, making for a magical atmosphere. The accommodations were well-ventilated, with fans providing comfort, although the furniture showed signs of age. The pool was fairly good, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of adventure. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. The receptionist greeted me by name, demonstrating their dedication to guest preparation and personalized hospitality. It made me feel welcomed and valued. Overall, this hotel camp offers a unique blend of nature and comfort, making it a fantastic choice for those seeking an unforgettable experience by the river. Highly recommended!

Staying at Man Eaters near a wild crocodile river was an extraordinary adventure, immersing me in the heart of nature. Though stayed for only one night, at morning, I would wake to the sounds of splashing water and the distant calls of wildlife. The camp was perfectly situated, allowing me to observe a regular father and son crocodile duo basking in the sun, their presence a thrilling reminder of the untamed wilderness surrounding us. The camp itself was a delightful retreat, featuring well-ventilated tents equipped with fans, ensuring comfort even in the warmest weather. As night fell, clear skies unveiled a breathtaking display of stars, creating a magical atmosphere that felt almost surreal. Monkeys playfully swung through the trees nearby, adding to the lively ambiance and providing endless entertainment. Each meal was a culinary delight, with gorgeous dishes that showcased local flavors and fresh ingredients, making every dining experience memorable. The camp also boasted fantastic pool areas, offering a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. Whether lounging poolside or taking in the sights and sounds of the river, every moment was filled with wonder. This experience was a perfect blend of comfort and adventure, leaving me with cherished memories of the wild.

A really lovely place. The nicest, most helpful staff I've ever met and Festus the manager was outstanding. Wonderful tents, wonderful food, wonderful view - peaceful and beautiful. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The packed lunch we recieved for our trip the next day was the best I've ever had. Would liked to have stayed longer and will definitely be back.
