Do not stay at this place. The service is almost non existent. But the worst of it all - we were robbed. The safes in the rooms do not work. While having dinner someone / they went into our room and went through our cases and stole all our USD. The only people that could have keys to the rooms are the staff. Our room was locked.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The location is beautiful, our room was really comfortable and clean, the staff was impeccable - everyone was really friendly and helpful. Food served at the restaurant was delicious and coconut coffee by the poolside was the best following a hot day cycling around the region! We borrowed their bikes and easily reached the main tourist spots (Mua cave, Trang An boat rides, Hoa Lu ancient capital) - this was a perfect option for us, as we were able to explore at our own pace and enjoy the beautiful countryside roads. We stayed for two nights, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the excellent pool and the surroundings. I can't say enough how perfect Trang An Ecolodge is, it was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam and we would love to visit again. Highlight recommend and huge thanks to all the staff for their hospitality!

This was an amazing find and gave so much more than we expected. We stayed overnight as part of a trip with Aspira to Ninh Binh and Ha Long. The setting is stunning, nestled into the mountains of Ninh Binh. Our beautiful room had a balcony overlooking the pool where we watched the sun go down. From the moment we were greeted by the staff we were made to feel so welcome. The room and large en suite had everything we needed. Robes and slippers, toothbrushes and toiletries. Even a plug in mossie extractor. The room was comfortable and clean while retaining that wonderful ecolodge feel. We had a lovely evening eating in their Vietnamese restaurant. The food was freshly made and generous. The fresh shrimp doing rolls were very nice. They even sent out for some western food for my younger son. We wish we’d had longer to stay and relax there, but we headed off early the next day.

What a fabulous place to stay, delightful setting beautiful rooms, lovely food and drink at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and we must thank the manager Tab for his personal support , he spent several hours sorting a flight for us when vietjet changed our booking without notice, couldnt have asked for someone more helpful. From the lodge its an easy bike ride to the boat tours and about 8km to Tam Coc or use the taxi Grab app which worked well. Some loud frogs at night so you may want ear plugs :)

Lush and beautiful, with a helpful staff, lovely rooms and good food. We loved it here. Convenient yet away from the crowds. The free bikes were a great way to explore. You really feel the jungle surroundings and are immersed in nature, highly recommend.

This little ecolodge is just stunning. We spent 2 nights and wish we had longer. The staff were incredibly friendly - a big thankyou to the front reception staff who were just delightful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor bathrooms were lovely and surprisingly not cold. The food was amazing - highly recommend dinner and cocktails. This place is truly paradise in the mountains. Highly recommended.

An absolute oasis amongst the rural beauty of Vietnam. Tranquil scenery, no TV, just the sound of nature and fantastic staff. We spent our final two nights here, after traveling for nearly two weeks in beautiful Vietnam, Our hosts were amazing, food a delight, and the room fabulous filled with scenic views. I highly recommend this tranquil place, as we traveled in off season, less crowded. Nothing was an issue, taxis arranged to go into town. Simply stunning.

This was one of our favorite places when visiting Ninh Binh. The lodge met every expectation we had. It was quiet and peaceful despite it being at capacity. The service was excellent, despite the limited English spoken. It is walkable to the Trang An bamboo boat area, although I would recommend borrowing a bike, which is free to guests might I add. Food was good and the servings were pretty generous. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.
