A beautiful place to stay for a night on the way from Provence back to the Eurotunnel (we would happily have stayed an extra night). Really pretty old hotel with very attentive staff and a beautiful courtyard. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the very attractive town centre where there’s a big choice of restaurants. There’s no private parking so the choice is squeezing into on-street spaces or driving a couple of minutes to the nearest underground car park which the hotel can give you a 5 euro ticket for. Double bedroom was small but nicely appointed, although no air conditioning, just a fan. Would recommend. The sister hotel next door is 5-star, this was the slightly cheaper option, although the very small swimming pool and either courtyard could be used by all residents.

This charming hotel in a quiet area of Troyes is a delight on all levels. If you looking for French country elegance: check, a fantastic restaurant with options to eat indoors or out (we ate dinner here twice): check, helpful and friendly staff: check. Bottom line if you visiting the southern Champagne Region you will not be disappointed basing yourself in Le Champ Des Oiseaux to explore the region!!

We have stayed here two years now the service and the hospitality is fab We have been upgraded both years All of the rooms are amazing and the staff can not do enough for you the breakfast is all you need Good coffee and tea selection with eggs and bacon as well as continental choices We will be back

We were the sole guests in this hotel for two nights in December. First impression was that it was "Olde Worlde" and needed modernisation, but things did improve. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and bath were excellent. Breakfast was superb with individual orders cooked freshly and delivered to our table. (No help yourself here!). The staff were very friendly and helpfuland minor issues were resolved quickly. It would take just a couple of minor improvements to get full marks. The room was rather dark; the safe antiquated and hard to reach , for example. But overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful and fantastic hotel with a great location. Personnel extremely helpful and accommodating. The cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate Personally experienced a heath issue in the middle of the night in which the hotel staff acted swiftly, professionally and beyond expectation and we are very grateful for their service.

We stayed here for a night as a stopover on our trip to the South.Centrally located,clean,lovely decor and the added bonus is the pool so peaceful and serene.Great communication from Maria re restaurant recommendations and local knowledge.We will return for sure.

We had a lovely stay for 1 night . The staff were lovely and the hotel is very pretty . The breakfast was a really good French breakfast . Wish we had longer to stay but we were on our way to Chamonix for a friends birthday . Would definitely come back and stay here again .

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, lovely food and really comfortable bed and parking! We moved from an awful hotel to this amazing one and felt like we had found the best hotel in town. Special mention to Julie Boisseau, thank you for your hospitality!
