we have a very bad experience at this hotel. we don't recommend this hotel to anyone! there was no check-in and no check-out, the room was very dated and the bed was much too small, everything smelled like fish from the fish restaurant downstairs. the hotel had forgotten to charge the tourist tax and then emailed us that we had forgotten to pay (€3.20)… we were not even asked how we liked our stay and of course we still transferred the €3.20. Unfortunately there is no mutual respect or understanding.

I chose this hotel because I love French sea/harbour front hotels. On arrival the man on reception was very welcoming and upgraded me to the next level because the hotel wasn't full. Since there is absolutely NO free parking in Trouville he persuaded me to take advantage of the hotel's private parking @ 15 euros a day. Street parking is 9 euros a day but you cannot guarantee where you'll be able to park. The hotel's parking area was a quite a walk back to the hotel, so I only took what I needed for two nights. As it turned out I only stayed one night. The room was very comfortable and clean but nothing really special. I had a side view of the harbour and street, but I wonder what my original room would have been like if this was an upgrade. Pillows were not standard size, but two small squares. Shower very underpowered. However paying 15 euros for breakfast is a rip off. Fruit juice, tea and bread with a selection of jam. I expected at least to have a choice of eggs after all the breakfast room is on top the restaurant kitchen, where substantial lunches are prepared for the hotel staff. There was a cafe around the corner that served omelettes for 8 euros but was closed. Had I had the time I would have tracked down another cafe. But as there were no tea making facilities in the room I was desperate for a cuppa. Why no tea making facilites? There are other hotels where parking and breakfast is included in the daily rate. If I travel again to Trouville I'll stay in one of those.

The room facing estuary was absolutely delightful and we had a great nights sleep the staff were also very very helpful and spoke great English although the head waiter was a bit of a character ( control freak not a good person to represent rest of hotel staff )But the hotel is like a lite up lighthouse for area and there are soo many other choices of food restaurants around to eat.

We had specifically chosen this hotel to have 2 single beds. The message was not transmitted by booking, and no solution was found. The beds are 140, so there was a very close relationship with my travel partner who made 2 nights not happen. In addition, due to the age of the building and the disrespect of customers: we wait for each person to pass by on the stairs, the discussions from the rooms around, the noise from the street even with the shutters closed. The second night between the evening returns to the hotel, the music in the street and the trash cans at 5:30 a.m. the night was more than short. Finally, we were hot, but we didn't try to turn down the radiator, perhaps we could have avoided this problem. Regarding cleaning: very clean, however, presence of mold on the shower head... The hotel did the job, but not up to the level

Too expensive, poor quality, the meat is a very useful tool for an event, the main meal was fries, the only thing safe and certain is that I will come back the day I want to break my teeth🙏🧟‍♀️😱

We have known this hotel for 3 generations and stay there regularly. The staff is adorable, the place is very pleasant and the restaurant is always up to par (the fried food is delicious, the fish is always fresh, the baba is killer with its unlimited rum… and many other dishes too!) The bedding is very good, the neat decoration and the very nice suites nestled at the top of the establishment! The breakfast brought to your room is also delicious. It’s flawless as far as we are concerned and we always return with pleasure to a place that has become familiar where our parents and grandparents already stayed…

City center hotel, room overlooking the street behind, very busy, but, given the location, we suspect that it will be a little noisy. With the roller shutters, it is very bearable. Convenient elevator with luggage. Simple room, clean, bathroom, small but well appointed, with a sufficiently large shower, good hot water. On the other hand, you should know that breakfast, served on the 1st floor, costs 15e! It's the same, we are told and nothing obliges us to take it. I would have liked a small piece of cheese, the gentleman at reception warned me that in this case, there would be a supplement!, I abstained. But, the strangest thing is that when I left, I saw that the breakfast served in the room or on the terrace... was equivalent and much cheaper! Think about it! Finally, the staff is friendly, polite, except for the people you meet on the floor, no hello...

It is a very characteristic hotel, a bit English style. Good price, nice room, paid garage. Excellent breakfast. It is located a stone's throw from the sea where there is a wonderful beach with a truly magnificent sunset. Very kind and welcoming.
