Reviews about this hotel are only the best. Nice comfortable apartment, with kitchen and bedroom with two air conditioners, close to the beach and supermarkets. The building has its own restaurant and currency exchange. We are aware of other reviews about this hotel, but we were given the best recently renovated room, on the 3rd floor of this hotel, overlooking the sea and we were very pleased with our stay. We have been to other beaches on the island of Mauritius, but the beach near this hotel seemed better to us, since it is less crowded and you can walk a little further to the beach to the hotels, where it is generally free. There is a taxi stand on the beach. If you follow the road to the left, there is a large supermarket with European goods, local drinks and souvenirs, from which there is a path directly to the beach itself. We also thank the service staff for timely cleaning of the room.

We are currently staying at these apartments on a 18 night stay and have to say that we are very, very happy with our accomodation. The apartment itself ( room16) is very spacious and has every facility you could wish for. The balcony in particular is wonderful with a sea view and adequate furnishing for sitting outside and relaxing. The room has a comfortable bed and a large fridge, a decent bathroom with a hairdryer and also cooking facilities should you want to cook something for breakfast. There is also a pool on the premises with nice comfortable sun beds all included in the price. The room is also serviced and the towels are changed etc. The sister property, the Parmiste Hotel is virtually next door and you can use their facilities but obviously purchasing food or drinks while visiting would be a nice thing to do in return for being allowed access. So in summary, our apartment/ room ticked all the boxes for us, there is also a wonderful security man on the main entrance gate who does a fantastic job of liasing with guests and assisting with any questions. If you are in two minds what to do i can recommend booking this property and it really is very good value for money.

Was move in two different rooms and awful! No words to express. We didnt go for breakfast. Seems it was an upgrade from the Le Palmiste Hôtel. They refused to refund the stay. We were there only for 1 night for bed and breakfast attending a conference somewhere else.

We stayed there 3 weeks in january- enjoyed every single day! Nice big room with a fantastic balkony where you can drink your mornings and afternoons coffee and see the sun going down. Choose the 3. floor- the seavew is better. Very close to the beach- just 3 min walking, everything is in a god walking distance, so you do not beed a car. Bus stop is also just close by to every direction, if you want to go for a small trip to Port Louis or another nice beach. Very kind stuff on the reception and cleaning ladys always helpfull. One of the best thing her is at you can use the facilities at the Palmiste Hotel near by, wich is oned by the same company. They have many swimmingpools and nice palmgarden. All inn all it was a perfct vacation and we recommend it to all who do not want to stay at a hotel and eat there every day and evening. We tried every day some different restaurants in the small village and were absolutely satisfied with the food and prices in Trou aux Biches. There is an Italian, Chinese, Japaneese, Indian restaurant, some other with Mauritian specialities - actually many nice places to eat, without to cook at the appartament, but you could if you want. Take your own beach towels, the beach is nice and long, the water is perfect to swim or dive- clean, warm. It was just great !!!!

The staff and cleaners Aarti and Swastika were very helpful and effecient, also the reception were very helpful as on request booked a restaurant and also tried to find out extra information on trips. The staff were always smiling and asking how they could help.

Very bad. No welcome upon our arrival, there is never anyone at the reception, for anything you have to go to the residence next door. On the site it says daily cleaning of the rooms however it is done every three days (not even toilet paper is provided), the water pressure is very low, the kitchen utensils provided are the bare minimum (you need to equip yourself with dishwashing detergent and sponges because the residence offers nothing). On the last day we asked to take a shower after the check out time and the bathroom provided had no hot water and no towels. Outside the structure there is always a smell of sewage. The only pleasant thing was the kindness of the concierge. We won't be back for sure.
