Wir waren im August 5 Nächte imTurm und froh, ganz schnell noch eine Unterkunft gefunden zu haben, nachdem ein Hotel unsere Reservierung nicht honorieren wollte. Trotzdem ein paar Anmerkungen: Empfang und spätere Hinweise sehr freundlich. Bis zum Turmeingang, im Turm , z.T. auch innerhalb der FeWo viele Treppen Es gibt zwar mehrere Räume aber sie sind durch die schweren Holzmöbel sehr vollgestellt und dadurch eng. Um in das Doppelbett zu kommen muss sich einer rückwärts hineinschieben, der andere hat nur wenig Platz zwischen Bett und Fenster. Es gibt mehrere Kleiderschränke, sie sind allerdings niedrig und haben kaum Ablagefächer. Das Bad ist relativ groß, aber die Dusche ist eng, weil der Platz von einem Whirlpool weggenommen wird. In manchen Bewertungen ist von der Gastronomie in Trostberg die Rede. Davon gibt es allerdings (nur noch?) wenig. Einen bayer. Biergarten und 1-2 Italiener. Der Bäcker hat am Wochenende geschlossen. Das Café war im August urlaubshalber geschlossen. Viele Geschäfte im Ort wohl ganz geschlossen. Insgesamt Standort, um Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu machen, wie Altenmarkt, Kloster Baumburg, Seeon, Tittmoning ... Schade, dass das Schloss neben dem (neuen) Turm leer steht und nicht touristisch genutzt wird.

Wir haben hier 5 wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Wir durften in der Grafenstubn wohnen. Die süße kleine Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Auch die Sauberkeit war bemerkenswert. Lieben Dank an unsere Gastgeberin. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Daniela und Marko
