After one year of absence, I am very happy to have found so many improvements on so many levels. The hotel has been renovated in impeccable taste, the restaurant especially looks amazing, the dishes are varied and tasty, there is something for everyone. They have set up a great fresh juices station where you cand prepare yourself whatever kind of smoothie or juice you like. The fireplace area is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms have also been renovated, big smart TVs, comfortable beds, the view from the balconies as stunning as ever. We were fortunate to have had the apartment this time around and it was a real treat, from the hudge and very comfortable sofa, to the big separate dressing, it is absolutely beautiful, pictures really don't do it justice. The resort is right near the Millenium Express cable, so comfort is at it's highest. The slopes were perfect and the view absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite things to enjoy at Falkensteiner Carinthia is the spa area, with it's beautiful panoramic sauna, and sauna programs done by Alessandro, who was a treat, with his happy demeanor, amazing aromas, lovely music and last, but not least, his Falken hat. Thank you, Alessandro, for making our afternoons so relaxing. A most heartfelt thank you to Mr. Ivan Hrvatin, who not only made sure our stay would be a memorable one, but who so actively involved in every aspect, truly an asset for Falkensteiner Carinthia. We did have an absolutely amazing stay and are very much looking forward to returning next winter. Would highly recommend the resort for everyone, couples, families, ski lovers, spa lovers, it really is an amazing resort, with everything one could wish for.

Great place to relax active and spa. We visited this hotel with our friends for second time, this time 29.1 - 3.2.2024 and we were really satisfied with everything again. All staff - at the reception, at the restaurant, cleaning and staff in the spa were amazing, really!! All were friendly, willing and smiling. If you are looking for The Best Quality you will go to the Falkensteiner Carinzia! I have a travel agency and many experiences and this hotel I can really recommend.

If you'd like to know what paradise on earth is like, come spend a week here, have a facial with Lucie, a massage with Ramona, chat with Evelyn at the reception, dine at their sumptuous restaurant. Or have a yoga class with Susana. Everything here is pleasing to the eye and to the senses.

We have returned to Falkensteiner Carinthia after the Covid pandemic. We found it to be the same and completely different at the same time. On the plus side, it's location and spa center are still one of the best in my opinion. The lady that checked us in, (I am very sorry I don't remember her name), was very kind and gave us a mountain view room, although we paid for a village view one. To be honest, both sides are nice, the mountain view is just a personal preference. The food was good and the view from the restaurant is amazing. The hotel is still very well kept, and it still looks like it did many years ago, when I first visited it. To name some of the disappointing aspects of our stay: one of the reasons Falkensteiner Carinthia grew so much on me was Remo, the gentleman that was in charge with the sauna programs. Not only is Remo no longer with Falkensteiner Carinthia, but nobody was, during our stay. And the absolutely unbelievable explanation I got when I asked why were there no sauna programs was, I quote: "the session has not yet started". Now, to make one thing clear, for a spa resort, there is no low or high season and, since I am a paying customer, I do expect to be treated as such, whether I visit in November, March or July. I find it unexcusable to pay for services that were promised but not delivered. The "off season" atmosphere was disturbingly obvious all throughout the hotel, on December 1st, which was not only an unpleasant surprise, but a disappointment, as I have always expected the best from Falkensteiner Carinthia. The TVs are still the ones from 15 years ago, no more bigger than a laptop. The covers on the bed are separate and that never seems to stop bothering me. They also have a new idea, that is point blank rude and unprofessional: to add a customized tip of 10 euros/day, if you don't specifically request for it to be removed. To make myself clear, I am pro rewarding the staff, but I highly feel it should be MY choise who I tip, how often and how much. I strongly feel that this policy should be removed, as it is nor elegant, nor fair. All things considered, I still feel Falkensteiner Carinthia is a beautiful resort, with an amazing spa and good services and I am looking forward to return as I do every year. I would highly recommend this hotel for the spa and it's location, it's beautiful.

We absolutley loved staying in the hotel for six nights in July. The staff makes you feel very welcome; they were always smiling, attentive, genuinley friendly and always went the extra mile. That warm, welcoming spirit is present throughout the hotel, from the front desk to the sports shop. Truly the friendliest staff we have ever encountered in any hotel. Falkensteiner hotels already have a reputation for having great food, but the food at the Carinzia was truly exceptional; with there being a rich breakfast, a light and healthy lunch, and a fine dining dinner experience. For dinner a selection of soups is available, you get your plated hot and cold appetizers at the buffet station next to a wide selection of salads, premium cheeses and organic fruits. The main course and dessert were served at a table. The food was always delicious and beautifully served. The room was spacious amd comfortable, it had a stunning view overlooking the village and nearby mountains. The beds were comfortable. This combined with the cold and quiet nights made for a great sleeping experience. The common areas of the hotel are well decorated, with lovley furniture and warm, natural lighting. The hotel includes, among other things; a pool, a bar, a sports shop, a game room and a spa. Speaking of the pool, it's warm and has plenty of sunbeds. It's all you could wish for if you simply want to relax and recharge. There is both an oitdoor and indoor pool. A stay at the hotel includes a free ticket to the nearby cable car wich takes you to an elevation of 1902m and the beach on the scenic lake Presseger. In summation, I can't wait to visit again.

Everything wasn’t just worth the price. The spa was too little for the amount of people, there were not enough sun beds so we didn’t know where to put our stuff. The worst part is the food. For lunch you only get salads, two hot dishes that are usually very tasteless and disgusting, no food for kids (even though it’s supposed to be also for families), and the dinner is horrifying as well. The food is tasteless, they take forever to bring it out and there are only a few choices from the buffet. We went here some years ago and it was amazing, now we’re definitely gonna avoid it. There are WAY better places for even a smaller amount of money. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! (I’m Italian so trust me on the food)

Hotel offers all the facilities for a carefree holiday. In addition to half board plus (extensive breakfast buffet, afternoon refreshments and in the evening a 5-course menu), there was also a well-catered BBQ theme party on Sunday. Nice swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Beautiful sauna area with plenty of privacy. Free Nassfeld +card for free use lifts in the area. Garnitzenklamm is a must do but be careful with small children. Some parts is hanging from steel cables to be able to follow the path.

The Hotel was a very nice experience very luxurious, the dinner was very culiniar was good. but unfortunately it happened to us that due to allergy could not order the main course, unfortunately we could only order something from the children's menu, this was very disappointing for us. feedback in this may then have something up its sleeve such as e.g. snack with fries.

Wonderful overnight at the Carinzia in Austria close to Italian Border. We came back from the Iadera (Croatia) and were so happy to get something on our route back to Germany. Especially Bruno (Service at the restaurant) was excellent. We knew him from Croatia and he remembered instantly. It was very nice to see him back - this Falkensteiner is really a nice spot in summer AND Winter time (if you like a lot of snow)
