When we arrived, it smelled like a fish kitchen of fried fish and loud music was blaring from the family who lives in the same building. We asked our contact by email if we could shorten our stay, if he would be willing to give a refund, and if we could possibly change rooms due to the unpleasant smell (even after 20 minutes with the door and balcony door open, the smell was still unbearable). He offered us another room, which we gratefully accepted. We packed our bags and came back to ask if there was anything else he wanted to do. He looked at us so angrily with a look that said: What do you still want here, get out of here. He offered to refund 50% of the price for the two nights we wanted to leave early because we didn't feel comfortable. We thanked him and made the request via Booking, as he had expressly requested. He declined. We contacted him, made another suggestion, and received no response. We made a second request through Booking, which he again rejected. He also refuses to respond to Booking itself, which we asked for help. He was no longer reachable, and we have never seen our money again.
