What a perfect location in Tropea! Massimo was professional and helpful and he recommended a wonderful restaurant (Ambrosia). The B & B had everything you could ask for and the breakfast was superb. While traveling we ran into another couple who stayed here and they loved it as much as we did. The beach is delightful -- highly recommend!

We booked this hotel having never been to Tropea before and so glad we did. Matissimo was great on communication before we arrived and during. The staff were really excellent, friendly and happy to serve. The room we had was fantastic with a lovely view out to sea. We really enjoyed the garden which had palms and bananas growing in it with sun beds to lie in the dapple shade of it got too hot. Breakfast had everything from eggs toe cheeses and hams, plus of course the croissants and coffee. Location could not have been better as it is right on the beach front and if you wanted dinner in the town then a stroll up was very pleasant with great views. We are already planning another trip next year.

EXCELLENT location! This place is truly a GEM! The moment we arrived we knew we made a great choice. Behind the gorgeous garden backyard is the beautiful beach. The room we had was clean and spacious enough. Air conditioning worked very well and there was nothing we were missing. Now the star was Massimo! What a hospitable and warm host. Heart of gold and so easy going. Only a few mins walk from the heart of the town too. Zero chance I will stay anywhere else when I go back to Tropea! Breakfasts were included and were delicious with a large variety. I'll definitely refer anyone going to Tropea to stay here.

Villa located in an ideal position on the Tropea seafront, with a gate that allows you to go directly to the beach from the garden. Slightly inconvenient car entrance/exit, well-kept villa, especially the very well-kept garden, where it is possible to sunbathe and take a shower. The upper town of Tropea can be reached on foot, with a comfortable climb, steep but without steps, in five minutes. Good breakfast. Mr. Massimo, with his staff, truly friendly and kind, if we return to Tropea we would like to be their guests again. The location is worth the slightly high price: highly recommended.

Excellent location and beautiful location with well-kept garden. Large and decent room, worth reviewing, the practically non-existent breakfast not in line with a four star hotel, there is no cake and biscuits, the salty food is poor, one day the coffee machine was broken and they were unable to make a coffee in the moka pot and boil some milk. they were all left without hot drinks. When we went to pay, the owner didn't ask us how the stay went, I think it was the first time in many overnight stays that I wasn't asked for feedback even just out of courtesy. Little empathy and problem solving.

The B&B is in a strategic position due to its proximity to the sea and the centre, easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes. Very kind staff. Clean rooms but with a rather outdated structure: creaking wardrobes, old doors, lack of coat hangers, clean but old towels. Poor breakfast. Beautiful and well-kept garden.
