There was no bar! Or lounge. There was no restaurant. The restaurant was in town, 10 min drive, but was very good. Food & Drink forbidden to be brought into the hotel, even though there was no bar or restaurant. There was a small kiosk by the pool for drinks and snacks. 12 noon - 6pm.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are large and clean and they're very peaceful. But you've got to have a car to stay here. It's not that it thst far from town - a 30-minute walk, which I enjoy. But, you have to walk on the autostrada to get there - and the cars are whizzing by fast. The properry doesn't currently have a restaurant - so while it is an oasis, there are limited services. No grocery nearby to get water (can't drink water from the tap here per the owner). So, just keep all this in mind. Breakfast is well done. The people are helpful. Cabs at $10 each time you need one - no matter how near or far. I love to walk when I'm on vacation - but doing so here was a stressful event. You'll enjoy the pool, and the grounds.

I can not say enough wonderful things about our stay! The hotel grounds and rooms were beautiful and clean. Manuel and Frederica and the whole staff were so accommodating and friendly made us feel at home. The breakfast under the grape vines and paninis and drinks at the pool were exceptional. Another plus is the beach is five minutes away great location from the beach and town. We will definitely be returning!

Our family were fortunate enough to stay at this lovely resort for 5 days in early July. On the whole our experience was fantastic I would recommend to anyone who wants to relax outside the hustle and bustle of Tropea. Our room was spacious, with a good size bathroom. The room had a balcony over looking the attractive pool area and views out to the sea. The hotel grounds are meticulously landscaped with beautiful plants, flowers and trees. The pool was immaculate and clean with comfortable loungers and towels provided. There is a pool bar available and snacks accompanying the drinks. There is a small selection of toasted sandwiches / salad's available for lunch. Breakfast was a highlight with traditional Calabrian fare as well as the option for eggs / omelettes etc housed in a beautiful outdoor setting. The service was excellent - the property is family owned and you can see the care and attention & pride they put into their customers and work. A couple of things to note that maybe useful - none of which affected our experience too negatively largely due to the boutique nature of the hotel. There's no laundry service, so if you need to wash clothes, bring some laundry powder! The resort is just outside Tropea and not practically walkable (no paths and quite hilly) - as we didn't have a car we had to get a taxi to Tropea each night for dinner - dinner not available at the hotel (budget 5 Euro per person each way - no shuttle provided). We highly recommend this hotel for the serenity and relaxation, balanced by the access to the wonderful town of Tropea.

We originally booked in 2019 to stay at this hotel in 2020. The booking was made on a non refundable basis. When we were unable to travel in 2020 because of COVID restrictions, the hotel kindly gave us a voucher to be used at a later date. Our plans for 2021 were again cancelled because of COVID but we did eventually make it in May 2022. The holiday season did not seem to have fully kicked in at the hotel or in Tropea in general. On arrival Federica advised us that she had upgraded us into a better room. I'm not sure if this was to reward us for our persistence or because there were not many rooms occupied. The room we were given was clean, well designed and very spacious. There was a small balcony and a sea view. Breakfast is normally taken in the garden but because there were so few guests, it was delivered to our room on the first 3 mornings. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes drive from Tropea. It was generally peaceful during the day and very peaceful at night. However, when returning from Tropea one evening we did come across a number of wild boar rooting around the hotel gardens. Not something I have experienced before. Thanks to Federica, her husband and the rest of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Wonderful Design Resort with gorgeous pool and garden area. During the night you can see the stromboli erupting. We really appreciated the friendliness of all the staff especially Federica from the reception was very helpful and welcoming.
