It was a pleasant stay in the low season. The room was clean and modern. Located in the old town and short walk to the beach. Breakfast is cooked to order and the staff is friendly and helping. The ocean water is so clear you might think it’s a swimming pool. Highly recommended.

This was my first time in Tropea but certainly not my last. I’m in love with this beautiful place and our stay at sunset Tropea was everything we could of asked for. The location was walking distance from the train which was convenient. It also is right next to the set of stairs that leads you to the beach and also close to the town with all the restaurants. The view was like nothing I’ve ever seen. The sunset was absolutely stunning! The room itself was clean and updated. My favorite part of my stay was Monica. She made breakfast for us every morning and helped us with anything we needed. She was so sweet I wish I could of taken her home with me! I will definitely return to this hotel and beautiful place in the near future !!! Thank you Monica !!!

The location is superb, just nexbjvt to the "I Love Tropea" sign. We stayed in the Lipari room which was spacious, had the most storage of any hotel during our 3 week trip. A/C worked very well. Monica, the Manager, was terrific and was like having an assistant at your disposal. Breakfast was served in our room each morning which we ate on the balcony facing the sea. It consisted of excellent scrambled eggs, croissant, fruit, juices, and coffee. She also offered a grilled ham and cheese which we declined as it was too much to eat. The bed was just ok. There are 2 items that potential guests should be aware of. First, the units are on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Second, the first 2 evenings the shower pressure was awful and the was very little hot water. We showered earlier the next 2 nights and all was fine. It appears that if any other room is showering the system can't handle it. All in all a good choice.

Honestly I don't know where to start, there are no words for the week just spent in this wonderful place. Waking up in the morning with the sound of the sea and with eyes full of blue for the enchanting sea that is there is priceless. Having breakfast with a breathtaking view has no description. Monica is uniquely friendly and kind and makes you feel at home and is always ready to help you. There is not a single negative point, one. You just have to try it to believe it. Magnificent. Thanks again Monica because you are wonderful.

The Sunset Tropea is truly a gem: centrally located at the entrance to the pedestrian zone directly above the steep cliff with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean and the Aeolian Islands. Breakfast was served to our room in the morning and we refreshed ourselves on the balcony with a view of Stromboli and the Sanzuario Santa Maria dell'isola. This accommodation is highly recommended: great location, unique view and super friendly staff.
