this unpretentious hotel in a small quiet village in France was a very restful stay. There are plenty of places locally to visit and good walking and cycling opportunities locally. Or, like us you can sit in the park opposite the hotel and enjoy the quiet. The air con was very welcome as temperatures soared and we had some very flavoursome, well cooked and presented meals in the hotel garden. Highly recommended

This hotel is not fancy, it's just one of these places that does not need that. Nice atmosphere, PERFECT beds, clean and the food is warming and lovely. Let's not forget the wines! The menu is just a bit of what you like to find. The whole experience fills me with joy. The hotelier knows his thing, has eyes for your needs but never lost his human spirit. Highly recommended

My husband and I was on our way to the South of France we found this Logis by chance, very nice place, typical French restaurant, homemade cooking, rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable, breakfast was very good. Owner was very hospitable, we would certainly stay here again and would recommend.

We stayed here for two nights in order to explore the village and local area, which we found very interesting. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel does not serve dinner every night but the one dinner we had was good value at 18 euros for three courses. The dining room has some interesting works of art.

We stayed at this hotel for the last night of our holiday, with 2 other couples that we were away with. We were greeted by Oliver who was most welcoming. He was such a jolly host and he really made our last night a most memorable one. Our hotel rooms were all well equipped and clean. The views from our rooms were idyllic. We had pre-dinner drinks on the hotel terrace, followed by dinner in the hotel restaurant. We all had a fabulous meal. The following morning we had a delightful continental breakfast too. Oliver really is the most brilliant host and his hotel was a great find for us. Thank you Oliver, you are great.

After a few days of gourmand and Michelin star restaurants we stayed here with its table d’hote menu. Olivier greeted us very warmly and took us to our room. It overlooked the road and pretty river and the views were lovely. My only criticism? The bathroom was dated and I had to be very careful getting in and out of the bath as it was steep. Also there was no hook to hang the shower in and a plastic curtain. This is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 :-( The logis toiletries however were really good and my hair loved the shampoo. I would happily buy it. The air conditioning worked very well and the room was soundproofed but the road quitened at night. Easy free parking opposite the hotel. The bed was large and one of the most comfortable of the holiday.. We had a kir at the little terrace at the back of the hotel. The geography was interesting as the terrace backs onto a high cliff with troglodyte houses above with little balconies looking down on us. The air was warm and a pleasant atmosphere. We shared the table with an elderly couple playing scrabble. She was celebrating her 79th birthday. Dinner was served in a simple room (there was a grander salon downstairs) and served by Olivier. There was no written menu and he kindly slowed his French down so we could understand him. Choice of two starters, plats etc. we opted for the savoury toasts to start with followed by a meat pie which was delicious. We had a local red wine of the region which was excellent. Photo attached. Next time though I will try the sea bass as it looked good. A group of four locals were on the other table and also the scrabble playing couple on another one. Dessert was a very good pan a cotta homemade with a mango coulis. The food was simple but nicely cooked. Olivier was very friendly. After dinner my husband played the rather excellent piano in the salon. The guests loved it and Olivier filmed it and asked us permission to use the footage . After that it was like we were with friends. Some very good local wine was poured including an excellent desert wine from Tours which we will buy on our next visit. He sat down with us and the conversation ranged widely. Turned out he had bought the hotel in Autumn 2019 what timing! Olivier really knows his wines and, despite our bad French, we had a great conversation with the locals joining in. This is the “real” France which I love. After a simple but good breakfast we left after my husband played Happy Birthday for the lovely lady who had just turned 79. Olivier was kind enough to give us a gift of some local wine as a thank you for the piano playing :-) Pricewise this was the cheapest stay of our holiday but great value for money. I would definitely come back.
