"Stayed for 3 nights. Was upgraded from standard room to superior room. Hotel reception are friendly, particularly Amalie which has bubbly character, it was a great experience dealing with her, great start for my stay. Nice, warm and comfortable room. This room type has a Nespresso machine, you can also make tea with the kettle provided. Good breakfast, plenty of choices including fried rice. There is a sauna and gym with majestic view. Airport bus dropped me off directly just opposite this hotel. The pick up point for most northern light tours are nearby. Overall it was a great stay and highly recommended."

"Hotel is conveniently located and just 2 mins walk to the Airport Express Bus. Also easy access to grocery stores, food and Tromso port. Its a simple budget hotel with small and comfortable room. There seemed to have machine for laundry at 3rd floor for 90kr a wash. The reception is also a bar to get your drinks. There are work space in front of the 'Barception'. Staffs were cool 😎"

"The apartment hotel is located in the prosperous area on the east side of the island, close to various attractions, and convenient for shopping. You can also go to the supermarket and fish market to purchase local seafood. The apartment has an induction cooker and all kinds of cooking utensils for your own cooking."

"Room was more spacious than expected - can open 2 large suitcases comfortably, with space to walk around. Loved that we had 2 pillows each, kettle, and there were enough hooks & hangers. Location was excellent. Breakfast was a good spread. Overall very pleased at value for Scandinavia."

"I recently stayed at Smarthotel Tromsø and enjoyed my time there. The breakfast was really good, with plenty of variety to start the day. My room was neat and comfortable, albeit a bit smaller than I would have preferred, but it served its purpose. One thing to keep in mind during the winter is that Tromsø is very dark for much of the day, so you might sleep in later than planned. Overall, I recommend Smarthotel Tromsø for a convenient and satisfying stay."

"Hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade after knowing that we were travelling for our honeymoon! Room was clean and spacious. Toilet floor was heated, definite plus point!"

"Our best stay for the trip. The room is very big, clean and fully equipped. Good location, walking distance to the ferry terminal and 15 mins by bus to the airport. The bus stop is just the next street of the apartment. Shopping, groceries, eateries are all nearby. Lucky to see the northern light on the first night outside our apartment. Strongly recommend all to stay when you are in Tromso."

"The hotel environment is really clean and close to the airport. If you arrive late, you can check in by yourself. The breakfast food is very rich and delicious! In addition, it is very close to various attractions. I am very satisfied!"

"Basic hotel but you have the essentials. It is clean very close to the main street where all the shops are located. The breakfast buffet is very simple but you have a little bit of everything. You always have tea or coffee available in the hall if you feel like it. They also have a parking service in the back, it is fair but it gives you the service, I used it and although it was an ice rink at least you know that your car is ok since parking on the street is mission impossible and everything is pay."
