We really enjoyed our stay (3 nights) at this hotel, in particular the full-equipped kitchen and tasteful design. There is a supermarket round the corner so if you are planning to cook, you won't have problems finding groceries nearby. We could walk everywhere and found the location ideal for exploring the town. We also tested the spa (the pool had a technical problem that day so we negotiated a reduced rate) that is no included in the room rate. It is small, but nice and we happened to be the only visitors that day. The breakfast room on the top floor has a nice panoramic view and the selection of food is good, if not spectacular, compared to other hotels of this category. Coffee in the breakfast room was not so great, but there was a Nespresso machine (and capsules) in our kitchenette, so we preferred to have our coffee there and outside at one of the many nice cafés. The other small "minus": not exactly generous with towels if you are planning to take a shower AND dry your hair with a separate one. Also, as is the new "trend" to save space, in our suit at least there was no actual wardrobe/cupboard to hang clothes, but only "racks" with hangers, so perhaps not ideal for longer stays. All in all, I can really recommend this hotel though and would definitely book it again myself. Staff was also really friendly and helpful.

10 / 10 Experience. Best hotel in Tromsø in my opinion. Amazing staff and location. Highly recommended over other hotels in Tromsø. Family stay with a group of 6. Very clean. Amazing food. Great tips and tours available. Like I said: 10 out of 10 stars. -Happy Guest

We stayed in the Enter St-Elisabeth Hotel (not a suite). We paid extra for a 'superior double room with sea view, however, the only way to view the sea was to climb onto the wind sill to look round the corner of the building. The room was very small with the bed pushed up against a wall and with just enough room on the other side for a very small table. the lighting in the room was very poor in the area where the bed was. There was not any room to sit and relax in the room. When we arrived (19.00) reception was closed and we had to do a self check-in and therefore were unable to arrange a breakfast box for the morning. There is no restaurant or bar and the 'Snack Bar' is just a fridge with a few items which were extremely expensive. what seemed totally at odds with the inadequacy of the hotel in terms of comfort and service was a large fully equipped gym which no one seemed to use. The tea and coffee in the room was never replenished and we had to ask at reception (if it was open) for tea bags and also replacement toilet rolls. I would not recommend the hotel but cannot comment on the suites.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We were in Tromsø for over a week, and this was the perfect home base for us. The rooms are clean, neatly appointed, and exactly what you want. The lighting is really well done, very important during the polar night. The beds are incredibly comfortable. I am still dreaming about the water pressure in the shower. We were able to do laundry, which was great since our luggage was delayed. We had a six year old, so being able to cook our own meals with the kitchen allowed us to easily feed her and saved us money. It's also helpful because with jet lag, you may be hungry at 4am. There is a coffee machine in the lobby accessible 24/7, which was great. The heating is well-done, and the windows open for fresh air. We found that the photos we saw online are very representative of what we found when we arrived in terms of the rooms, etc, except that it was actually a little cozier (the lighting is nice and warm white). The wifi was consistent and strong. There are TV's, which you can sign into your streaming apps on. One flag is that you should sign off your accounts before you leave. The staff is amazing. The front desk people were all very helpful when we were trying to get taxis or had questions. And they didn't mind our kid coming down to steal cookies from the lobby. The cleaning staff is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and they were really nice and responsive when we needed to get rid of garbage or restock something. The gym is huge and way nicer than expected. Also great in the arctic. We chose this place over a more traditional hotel because of all of the amenities, and we were not disappointed. This is not located in the city center, but it's a short walk to there (about 10 minutes or so depending on weather). There is a supermarket a few minutes away, which is very convenient. The location is very good, and it is also kind of up on a hill, with nice views.

We stayed here for 5 nights in January. I don’t recognise the place described in some of the not so good reviews at all - I think they must be describing it when it was under different management. Our stay was fantastic! We had a superior 2 bedroom apartment with a sea view. It was warm, comfortable, had all the equipment we needed and had an amazing view from every window. The beds were super comfy - we didn’t want to get up in the morning as we lay looking at the views. It is about a 10-15 minute walk out of town (depending on your pace, the snow and which part of town you are going to). Or you can walk for a couple of minutes and get a bus. But the payback for being a bit further out is that it is wonderfully quiet. And there is less light pollution. We saw the Northern Lights out of our window twice. The reception staff are lovely. There is free hot chocolate and cookies. There are also breakfast bags that you can purchase but we bought breakfast from a supermarket which is about 5 minutes walk away. All in all - far cheaper than the big hotel brands in the town centre and very highly recommended.

If you are under the age of 25, the staff will treat you like you are going to trash the room. They had us cancel our booking at ***********, and book again at desk. The 1500 NOK deposit did not help on the experience either. Will not stay at this hotel again.

The suites in this modern hotel are lovely and really good value for money! This was my fifth accommodation booking whilst in Norway and it was my favourite. It’s only a very short walk into the town centre and it has a fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to stay in and cook. The decor is modern, the beds are really comfy, it’s clean, there’s plenty of fresh coffee pods, tea bags, a kettle and an oven. The sofa is large enough to seat 4 people and the TV is a good size too. In fact, you could live in this apartment quite comfortably. The swimming pool is never busy and the breakfast bags are lovely. We were delivered fresh croissants, a ham and cheese roll, on fresh bread and some crunch corner yoghurts, with fruit and orange juice at no extra cost. The staff and lovely and I would recommend staying here rather than staying in the smaller rooms that you get in some of the local hotels. Thank you, if I ever come back to Tromso, I will definitely book with you guys again :-)

The room and the corridors are reminiscent of a former hospital. For a city trip, there are some hotels that are better located. Spa and swimming pool cost extra (275 kr per person). The staff are very friendly. But the price/performance ratio is still not right. We didn't feel comfortable.
