I loved to stay at this hostel. Super clean, comfortable beds, great shower, beautiful view from the balcony, kitchen and in the living room. I highly recommend it.

no cleaning for the feet thick of snow for days, inch thick ice on the entrance at the entrance steps. The steps were so slippery that I felt and my knee got fracture.
Any problems contacting the owner, no response for hours.
No care at all all for the customers.
I will never come back and recommend

The host is very nice. The overall environment and location of the hostel are also very good.
Very clean. When the weather is good, you can see the aurora outside the hostel.
It is also very close to the meeting point for sailing. I recommend everyone to stay here!

This is my first accommodation in Norway, and it's so cozy and nice.. The common areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms are all clean! It's a double room, so it's comfortable to live in. It's best if two people come, and if you come alone, it'll be comfortable if you find a good roommate!! I think you can use it like a single room during the off-peak season. There are no full-time staff, and the owner comes by during the day to clean, but it doesn't seem particularly inconvenient or dangerous. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the city center, so it was nice to walk around and see the neighborhood. Above all, for this price, it's the best accommodation in Norway..!

I stayed here while in Tromso to see the Northern Lights from a boat. It was my first time staying at a hostel with a fully automated, self-locking entrance where the owner was not at the hostel, but I was able to stay there successfully by communicating with them via WhatsApp. It's a small hostel with a great view, and it seems that some people are staying there for a long time. It's located at the top of a hill with a great view, and the city of Tromso is small, so you can do all the sightseeing on foot without having to use buses. I've included photos of the church and the beautiful view from the cable car on the opposite bank.
