The rooms are a good size and very clean. The owners are very nice. Everything has a very family character. They are happy to give useful tips for excursions. Various homemade jams and fruit salad and a variety of cold cuts were available for breakfast, and requests were gladly accommodated. Wines from their own winery, grape juice and water could be purchased in self-service. Cashless payment was not possible.

Wer nach Trittenheim kommt wird viele Clüsseraths finden. Sehr viele. Über immerhin einen kann ich mir nun ein (zumindest kleines) Urteil erlauben. Für drei Tage besuchten wir das Weinhotelchen am Ortsrand von Trittenheim. Es hätte besser nicht sein können! Das Zimmer. Großzügig mit allem was man braucht (Bett) oder auch nicht (Fernseher), sauber, sehr ordentliches Bad. Das Probierzimmer. Ein moderner und dennoch gemütlicher Anbau, in dem man tagsüber wohl Wein verkosten kann und abends, wenn keine Tagesgäste mehr zugegen sind, kann man hier vortrefflich die Kühlschränke durchstöbern, welche dem Gast zur Verfügung stehen. So ist's dann auch nicht weit vom Wein ins Bett. Entnommene Flaschen werden einfach auf einer Liste angekreuzt. Frühstück. So klein wie das Hotel ist, so vortrefflich war das Frühstück. Joghurt, Ei, Brötchen, Käse, Wurst, selber gemachte Marmeladen, Riesling-Gelee, Honig.... Die Gastgeber. Das sind sie: Gastgeber. Wir haben uns hier sehr schnell wie zu Hause gefühlt. Großartig. Weiter so, Ernst! Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht bei Euch wohnen zu dürfen!
