The hotel gave a lot of surprises. The performance after sunset was very ceremonial, with strong Sri Lankan local dances and songs, allowing you to immerse yourself in the teardrop of the Indian Ocean.

The hotel is really special. There is no sign on the door. I thought I was in the wrong place, haha.
Facilities: The sea view room is very good. There is a separate path leading directly to the seaside. There are two showers in the room, and you can also take a shower outside.
Hygiene: On rainy days, some small bugs would crawl into the room. One night, I was scared to death that there was a big bug on the bed.
Service: The hotel has a beach bar, and the food is served very slowly. The Coconut King tastes terrible, so order with caution.

Like Ctrip with real name: First, I booked another hotel in Trincomalee, but the store told me that there was no room. There is nothing to say about the service. I had a beach seafood BBQ for dinner, $190 for two people (not including tip)

Everything was great. Tari did a great treatment! Thank you for the relaxing time! We felt very welcomed and comfortable. We had two treatments at the same time and both have been really good. In case that I got a sunburn Tari was really nice giving me extra Aloe Vera Cream.

We visited Uga Jungle Resort with a large group on family vacation. The rooms were a good size with a large, comfortable king bed. We had our two children with us and the hotel accommodated us by adding two extra single beds. The bathrooms were large but no bathtubs. We opted for the half board and ate all meals at the restaurant during our stay. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. There was something GOOD for everyone one - even the pickiest of eaters! The two ladies who served us at the restaurant went above and beyond each day. They were patient and accommodating of our large group with a number of young children. There is a bar/restaurant at the beach but we did not end up eating there or spending too much time as the waters were quite rough. The lifeguard Chandana made sure he stayed close if the kids went anywhere near the water. He also played volleyball with them. The beach/pool towels were plentiful as were the sunbed. The bartender and service at the pool bar was very good as well. Overall we had a wonderful time at Uga and would recommend it for anyone going to Trinco!
