My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The lobby smelled very strongly with chemical air freshened. The room was a good size, but only 4 clothes hangers. I don’t think it is enough even for one person. The liquid hand soap in the bathroom was dissolved with a lot of water and the bottle was filled for 1/4. It was unpleasant to use it but we had no choice. A toothbrush container was not cleaned and had toothpaste leftover in it. TV had only Italian language channels and the stuff was very helpful but not knowledgeable. We got wrong information about transportation. Location and breakfast are the only 2 things that are good. Very disappointing!

Nice and modern hotel near the city center. Although the building seems old, the rooms are renovated in a very modern style. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were nice. It's within walking distance to the port, Grand Canal, Piazza Unità d'Italia, and more. They don't have parking, but there are a few paid options nearby. We were able to park on a nearby street for 1 euro per hour during the day, which worked perfectly for us.

Loved the large room, very quiet hotel. Super choice and good quality food at breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. And a very short walk to the sea front or centre of town. We were attending a conference at Teatro Mielo, very convenient. Few minutes walk away.

For the first time I stayed at Hotel Solun as the hotel, where we have a corporate rate was fully booked. Honestly, it was a very positive surprise. Centrally located and warm welcome. The public areas are modern and cosy and my room, a Deluxe room on the top floor was spacious and comfortable. Great bed and nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Breakfast buffet was great and the breakfast room modern. The hotel has no parking or valet service, but they reserved a space at the nearby NH hotel, just 5 minutes walking distance. A very solid hotel at reasonable price. Two thumbs up.

Amazing Hotel in Trieste, Italy! Great location, comfortable room and amazing balcony! Breakfast? Nice! Not too much too choose, but all delicious. Parking was solved by a nearby garage. Staff was kind, helpful also speak English well. Definitely worth a visit!

Hotels in Trieste can be very expensive but we found this hotel very good value indeed. The staff are charming and our room was perfectly nice with comfortable twin beds, very clean and quite characterful. The hotel is well placed, about a 12 to 15 minutes walk from the central station and a ten minute walk (if that) to the Canal Grande. There are also numerous buses nearby. There was scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast, cheeses, ham, cereals and fruit, and really tasty cappuccino. All in all this was a nice experience - thank you.

Hotel Solun is a quiet and very clean hotel well located in Trieste. Lots of amenities in the room. Breakfast was excellent and the cappuccino perfect! Front desk staff were very polite and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Trieste looking for an affordable option.

great hotel with great service and perfect food. The staff were very kind and you can ask them anything you need. Hygiene comes first and they are following the rules for corona. If you ever ho to Italy i highly recommended this hotel!
