We stayed 4 nights at Limehome and after being initially baffled by how to get in, we cracked it and it was quite nice not having to bother with a key. I am glad that I can understand German as the instructions for the external keypad are not in English and it isn’t immediately obvious how to get the keypad up on the screen. Once you have worked it out though it is worth memorising all the numbers. The bed was comfortable and we loved the balcony, watching all the comings and goings. There is no air conditioning but the fan was sufficient for us. The cutlery drawer is underneath the oven, and we first thought we would have to eat with our fingers, as it wasn’t at all obvious. The cleaning ladies were great - very friendly and we had a great stay there.

Terrible check-in! Goes digital with a door code. This code was 'false'. No way to contact someone from Lime Home. Calling, even the 'emergency' selection button produces a band. Can only send an app. At 4.30 pm we were informed that we could not enter the room. Only a response after 10 p.m. This really isn't possible. Been on the street for hours!

Limehome Trier is easy to reach by car, parking is a bit more difficult because all parking spaces in front of the entrance are reserved for the bakery below the apartments. The apartment was complete, with the same look and decoration as the other location where we stayed before. It was very hot in the room, luckily there was a good fan and we had enough cool drinks in the fridge. Bathroom looked fine and clean. We are a fan of the concept and will always check on future trips whether Limehome has a branch in the city of our choice.

The apartment is in a great location, directly in the second row of a residential complex on the Moselle. The apartment is very nice, new and tastefully furnished. A very well-equipped kitchenette was available. Vinegar/oil, salt/pepper shakers were available. There is a bakery right next to the house entrance. We were travelling by bike and so the location of the apartment was perfect for exploring the wine region. Beds are comfortable, bathroom has a hairdryer, shampoo and soap were also available. Towels were also available. We felt very comfortable. The only small downside is that there was hair in the bathroom from previous guests and that a little more love should have been put into cleaning the apartment in general. It is unpleasant to come across other people's paper waste. The dust on the bathroom lamp was unfortunately impossible to miss. The cleaner should have noticed that.
