The staff are friendly and breakfast was nice. The location is close to town but bear in mind that it is uphill so not ideal for those with mobility issues. We booked an Apartment King room with balcony and I did not like the room we had as it was at the back / side of the hotel , I think facing the front would have been nicer. What disturbed me about the this back apartment was the main bedroom window looks out onto a small garden area and the heavy curtains don't fully cover the area of the window which means that at night when you have the light on those walking the corridor can see into your room. Thee are sheer curtains but you can still see in. Also this room has only a shower and no bath. I would stay in the hotel again but not that room. The parking in front of the hotel reception was full so we parked on the street which was fine. There is paid parking in the hotel garage for those looking for added security.

Near to the town center in a strategic very silent position, for a really comfort stay, in a so expensive little village. Wow! I came here to lodge my disappointment but am astonished to see the same behaviour has been meted out to people since 2019 and nothing has changed. Well, the waiters were quite decent but the lady at the counter probably had the same reason for not to smile or behave professionally to customers. I won't go into details here but will only hope they improve their customer interaction in this day when heritage establishments are struggling hard to maintain their clientele and ”good” image. Food and rooms were good - that's probably why there were so many guests. I once heard in passing at the reception: ”Fully booked”. The room furnishings were not entirely satisfactory - especially in the bathroom there is a need for action. The shower cubicle could only be closed with a trick - all the elements pressed against each other so that the driver groove at least snapped in the middle.... The large mirror with the integrated cosmetic mirror has only one flaw: It is mounted too high, so that the ”small ”I couldn't even use it (1.70 m tall). Good idea, not well implemented. Perhaps the manufacturer assumes that the mirrors are placed on the floor???

The surrounding environment of the hotel is first-class, and the internal facilities are also very characteristic, especially the many details are very warm, and it feels like home. The front desk manager is the nicest German gentleman I have ever seen along the way and left a deep impression on us. This was the most satisfying stop on this trip, so it was another day.

Near to the town center in a strategic very silent position, for a really comfort stay, in a so expensive little village. Good and large breakfast, very kind staff, quality/price ratio is no doubt higher than other hotel nearby, you can leave your car for free just in front of the hotel.

Wow! I came here to lodge my disappointment but am astonished to see the same behaviour has been meted out to people since 2019 and nothing has changed. Well, the waiters were quite decent but the lady at the counter probably had the same reason for not to smile or behave professionally to customers. I won't go into details here but will only hope they improve their customer interaction in this day when heritage establishments are struggling hard to maintain their clientele and ”good” image. I have noted someone from the establishment kindly reads the reviews here. So, they can contact me for exact date/time in case it is not clear who this person is. I only hope their reputation is not spoiled due to this while their product (the cake, Black Forest cake) was the best we had had during our trip. Best wishes.

The staff are friendly and breakfast was nice. The location is close to town but bear in mind that it is uphill so not ideal for those with mobility issues. We booked an Apartment King room with balcony and I did not like the room we had as it was at the back / side of the hotel , I think facing the front would have been nicer. What disturbed me about the this back apartment was the main bedroom window looks out onto a small garden area and the heavy curtains don't fully cover the area of the window which means that at night when you have the light on those walking the corridor can see into your room. Thee are sheer curtains but you can still see in. Also this room has only a shower and no bath. I would stay in the hotel again but not that room. The parking in front of the hotel reception was full so we parked on the street which was fine. There is paid parking in the hotel garage for those looking for added security.

Food and rooms were good - that's probably why there were so many guests. I once heard in passing at the reception: ”Fully booked”. The room furnishings were not entirely satisfactory - especially in the bathroom there is a need for action. The shower cubicle could only be closed with a trick - all the elements pressed against each other so that the driver groove at least snapped in the middle.... The large mirror with the integrated cosmetic mirror has only one flaw: It is mounted too high, so that the ”small ”I couldn't even use it (1.70 m tall). Good idea, not well implemented. Perhaps the manufacturer assumes that the mirrors are placed on the floor???

The breakfast was great, no less than a five-star hotel. The surrounding environment of the hotel is first-class, and the internal facilities are also very characteristic, especially the many details are very warm, and it feels like home. The front desk manager is the nicest German gentleman I have ever seen along the way and left a deep impression on us. This was the most satisfying stop on this trip, so it was another day.
