This must be up there with one of the best guest houses I’ve visited. It’s in a superb location with easy access to all local attractions. The Chapel itself is beautifully converted and the room my mum and I had was lovely. Complimentary tea and coffee, chocolate biscuits, bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, ear plugs and shower caps. I’m a coffee drinker and the coffee supplied was Starbucks coffee which was a real treat. The breakfast is phenomenal with fresh mango, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and kiwi with a choice of yoghurts. A selection of perfectly chilled fruit juice, cereals, cafetières of coffee, toast and a full English to rave over. The chef, Richard cooked the breakfast to perfection and the bacon was more like gammon it was that thick. Warm chocolate au pains and a choice of preserves for the toast were also provided. Tracey and Richard were the perfect hosts and my mum and I had a smashing couple of hours in the bar with a couple of beers with another couple who were also staying at the guest house and Richard who very kindly provided us with plates and forks to eat our Chinese which we had delivered from a nearby restaurant. An unforgettable couple of nights in a perfect guest house which was superbly clean, incredibly welcoming and went wayyyyy over and above what most guest houses offer. I literally can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Tracey and Richard from two very happy guests.

Lovely welcome from Tracey when we arrived. We were in room no2 on the front of the house overlooking the main road, which was not a problem and we couldn’t hear the traffic. Room was large and beautifully appointed with nice little extras. Ear plugs for one thing if needed, we didn’t. Nice bathroom with good shampoo, conditioner etc. Due to the age of the property there was a Macerator in operation when you used the taps, the shower or the toilet. We were there for 3 nights and got used to it very quickly. If you close the bathroom door you can’t hear it from the bedroom. Good sized breakfast room and an excellent breakfast cooked by Richard. Free off road parking, and wi fi. Nice outside garden area which unfortunately we couldn’t use due to the weather when we had planned to use it. Overall, good value. Thank you both. . ,

A friendly welcome as we arrived from Tracy. Our room was bright, very clean and beautifully spacious. Beds very comfortable with good clean pillows. Bath was very clean and supplied with all you could need or want for a stay. Towels were beautiful too! Tea & coffee supplies were good with a variety of teas and biscuit treats too. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. Good variety of cereals & preserves as well as fruit juices. Richard cooked a very good substantial breakfast. However, with hindsight we both would have preferred not to have had to complete our breakfast requirements for our complete stay on the evening of our arrival although we totally understand it makes it easier for Tracy & Richard to manage. Tracy was accommodating when we couldn’t remember what we had ordered previously. Tracy was very knowledgeable about places to eat in the evenings and she even made a reservation on our behalf. The restaurant was wonderful. Macerating toilet did cause concerns as on arrival you are made aware that if blocked you will be fined. It is also very noisy and can’t be flushed during the night. However, we managed & both Richard and Tracy told us not to worry about it. I would be happy to stay at the guest house again if ever in the area. Wish Tracy & Richard all the very best.

Nice rooms with good facilities. Very clean and breakfast was very good. The area is really beautiful and very quiet at night. We all enjoyed our stay and would stay again . The outdoor area looks particularly good although it was a bit cold on our stay to enjoy it

We have no hesitation in recommending The Chapel Guest House. We were only there for one night but will definitely be returning for another visit. On arrival the owners made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. The bed was also very comfortable. The following morning we were treated to a delicious well cooked full English breakfast - but there were several alternative options. If you're visiting Cornwall this guest house is well situated for many attractions.

Spent 2 nights at the Chapel Guest House - what a gem of a find - Tracy and Richard are wonderful hosts and the guest house is beautifully presented and the room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding - plentiful and excellent quality; I recommend the Cornish sausage but please leave me some for my next visit! The Guest House is really well located for many of the attractions that Cornwall is well known for such as the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charleston and the many beaches. Tracy and Richard - “Meur Ras” (as we say in Cornish) and we look forward to seeing you next time.
