This must be up there with one of the best guest houses I’ve visited. It’s in a superb location with easy access to all local attractions. The Chapel itself is beautifully converted and the room my mum and I had was lovely. Complimentary tea and coffee, chocolate biscuits, bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, ear plugs and shower caps. I’m a coffee drinker and the coffee supplied was Starbucks coffee which was a real treat. The breakfast is phenomenal with fresh mango, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and kiwi with a choice of yoghurts. A selection of perfectly chilled fruit juice, cereals, cafetières of coffee, toast and a full English to rave over. The chef, Richard cooked the breakfast to perfection and the bacon was more like gammon it was that thick. Warm chocolate au pains and a choice of preserves for the toast were also provided. Tracey and Richard were the perfect hosts and my mum and I had a smashing couple of hours in the bar with a couple of beers with another couple who were also staying at the guest house and Richard who very kindly provided us with plates and forks to eat our Chinese which we had delivered from a nearby restaurant. An unforgettable couple of nights in a perfect guest house which was superbly clean, incredibly welcoming and went wayyyyy over and above what most guest houses offer. I literally can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Tracey and Richard from two very happy guests.
