They are situated in the hamlet of Les Nardoux, near the Dordogne River, in the Perigord Noir, only a mere kilometre from the charming village of Trémolat which offers a variety of restaurants and bistros. This lovely farmhouse/cottage has its own private swimming pool. It offers 3 outdoor living areas which overlook a walnut orchard.The cottage is close to Sarlat and within easy reach of the vineyards of Bergerac, Pecharment and MonbazilacThe beautifully renovated 250-year-old farmhouse comprises of four bedrooms, two shower-rooms and one full bathroom. There is a cosy lounge, a large kitchen, a large swimming pool and three outdoor living areas. The farmhouse sleeps eight people comfortably. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with high ceilings and a queen-size bed, plus a smaller bedroom with a double bed. A shower room is shared by these two bedrooms. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite shower-room. Next to it, is a comfortable bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a full bathroom downstairs.There are a total of 4 Bedrooms 3 bathrooms, a cosy lounge and a well equipped kitchen dining area. We have maps onsite of our local walks for your enjoyment.This beautiful old 1811 barn has been beautifully decorated to create a modern luxurious space.The upstairs bedroom offers a queen-size bed as well as a single bed with an en-suite bathroom.Downstairs the bedroom offers 3 single beds and a Italian shower room.The second downstairs bedroom has a lovely double bed sleigh bed and high ceilings. There is a toilet room next to this bedroom.Outside we have a lovely seating area overlooking the orchard with a plunge pool. Situated only 1 km from the very popular Tremolat which has 5 great restaurants in our quaint village.The famous Le Vieux Logis offers "art on a plate by our Michelin star chef Vincent.The Bistro en Face has also been awarded a Michelin star. Whilst the meals are bistro-style they are all beautifully presented and delicious. Les Tartines is a wine bar that offers smaller meals, should you wish something lighter. The pizzeria offers delicious pizzas as well as a variety of local dishes.During the summer there is a pop-up restaurant on the waters edge of the Dordogne River which serves a variety of light meals.Please note that should you be renting only the barn, the main pool unfortunately is not included in your rental.Should you wish to use bicycles, especially the "e-bikes" which makes climbing our local hills more attainable, we can certainly hire bikes on your behalf at an extra charge.We offer free Wifi during your stay!

The michelin star restaurant, Le Vieux Logis, the michelin star Bistro en Face, the wine bar - Les Tartines, the Pizzeria - Nulle Parte. (in summer on the bank of the Dordogne we have a lovely little pizzeria. Here you can enjoy a light meal and watch the sun go down.) When it comes to restaurants you are visiting the right area.Are you interested in cycling, walking, history of early man, history of the 100 years war, castles, chateaux, delicious wines, gourmet foods and so much more. There is evidence of early man only 500 metres from Les Chouettes.The Basin Nautique, offers water skiing, peddle boats and paddling. One of our favourite activities is to hire a paddling boats and to paddle from one village to another.If you start at Tremolat you will be taken by van up the river to any of the villages above i.e. Limeuil. Then one can paddle back to tremolat. Should you wish to paddle for longer - one can choose a village further up and maybe stop for lunch or a picnic.We offer free Wifi during your stay!
