A very clean and well run hotel , set in a stunning location, the staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we had an issue on our last day when our taxi didn’t arrive for our transfer to the airport, the manager went above and beyond to find us a transfer to enable us to get to the airport on time. Our room was very clean and we had a balcony with a beautiful lake view. All areas of the hotel were to a high standard, the pool was cleaned daily and there was a tennis court which unfortunately we didn’t get the time to use on this visit. The hotel is set in a very quiet location, which was nice to come back to after busy days sightseeing. The staff were all workaholics , with most of them there at breakfast to late evening, chatting and interacting with all the guests, it felt like one big happy family, I would fully recommend this hotel for your stay, you definitely won’t be disappointed!!

The location was perfect, we arrived after a wedding in Bellagio and we felt very relaxed. The pool was quiet and tranquil. On one side, you look up to mountains with caves and circling birds of prey circling. On the other, you have views of the lake and huge mountains which turn pink at sunset. On a nighttime walk, a huge firework display started across the bay and it was stunning. The food is delicious, with traditional Italian fayre and the chefs use local ingredients. The Parma ham and melon was my favourite starter and the sea bream/ lasagne bolognese, excellent! In the evening, a singer sang many popular songs and it enhanced the atmosphere further, whilst we watched the sunset. The staff cannot do enough and the service was friendly. They helped us to find a taxi to the airport and were quick to answer any questions we had. We would love to return and thank everyone there for a wonderful stay. Italy is still our favourite!! ❤️

Villa Edy was amazing, the staff were all so kind and helpful, the property itself is beautiful and the restaurant at the hotel was our favorite in our time here in Italy. Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful views of the lake and the alps, the pool on property is very nice and if you like a game of tennis the court is also very nice. Cannot say enough good things about the staff, definitely make you feel at home.

Villa Edy is an extremely comfortable, well situated, traditional hotel where you will be welcomed by friendly staff into a clean, functional room with amazing views of Lake Como (if you book a Lake view), a very welcome, and well maintained, pool, and a well stocked bar. Walking distance to Villa Carlotta and the Navigazione pier in Tremezzo (with a relatively steep climb back to the hotel if you are so inclined) you can reach the main sights, including Bellagio, from the hotel without needing your car. Breakfast is straightforward and perfectly reasonable with a range of meats. cheese, cereal and bread, whilst the dinner menu is a little limited; but bars and restaurants are plentiful in Tremezzo, and you can enjoy the walk back to the hotel along the shore of Lake Como. Hotel Villa Edy isn’t luxurious, but neither is it ‘humble’ as a previous review described it. I sense a real desire to do what they do well and they succeed. Pick this hotel for its pretty unique balance of price, location and quality. Enjoy the pool. Enjoy the views. Enjoy the bar. And enjoy the walks to Tremezzo through steep, narrow, winding streets and along the shoreline (taking the route through the park and avoiding the road, at least for some of it).

The facilities are being very well kept, spacious rooms and parking area. Most members of staff were fantastic, very responsive, always with a smile in their face. They did not charge 16 eur for what was a very poor meal, meant to be regional and, in Italy, fresh. Breakfast had a reasonable choice considering the size of the hotel, bread was soft/long life but seemed fresh. The eating area was pleasant. Disliked · One member of staff/owner decided to talk in Italian in my presence about me to the other staff. I think this was very discourteous, even rude. The point she was making is about the fact the hotel had to admit they do serve meals but the food is not freshly prepared. Essentially having a mixed chicken nuggets type of milanese cottoletta with some rewarmed chips - I had asked and been told were cooked "in the oven" (perhaps microwave oven?)... While counting the cash they had in the till, the lady was arguing with the other manager that the hotel should decide to charge the 16 eur for that rewarmed meal.

We stayed for a wonderful week in August. Great quiet location, superb facilities with tennis and pool. Delicious restaurant, good breakfast, good bar. Very easy location for lake and transport. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Very comfortable rooms.

This is the perfect hotel to visit Lake Como! Beautiful position 5 mins walk back from main road so completely quiet and you get that Great Lake View. Very comfortable air conditioned rooms, spotlessly kept. Amazing pool, flawless tennis court. Great staff, delicious restaurant. Breakfast included. Wonderful staff. Middle of the Lake so you can go anywhere to visit.
