Stayed for 2 nights as we were at an American car show for the weekend! Gwrych Castle! Lovely hotel! Little hidden gem! Lovely clean rooms! Bed was comfy! (Hubby said he slept really well both nights) room cleaned daily! Fresh towels! Coffee/tea facilities, hairdryer. Extra pillows in the wardrobe! if you needed an iron hotel would provide one on request! Two keys to room as the main door is locked around 9 pm as there is no staff in hotel after this time but there is security and a number if needed! You could open/lock the main door if needed felt secure at night! Breakfast lovely! The restaurant food was so nice! Reasonable prices! Would highly recommend! Would definitely stay again!

Everything to do with our stay was fantastic. To start with the customer service whilst booking was second to none. On arrival we were greeted and showed to our newly refurbished room which again was great ! We then went down to the spa and had a sauna/ steam room and swim inside and outside in the hydro therapy pool. After chilling out for around 2 hours we then get ready for our meal. The service at the meal was absolutely amazing so professional and personal at the same time. The food was simply fantastic and is the best my wife and I have had in a very long time ! In summary everything in the hotel feels new and fresh and the restaurant and spa are spot on.

Another wonderful hotel close to the end of our walk. This one was differnt to the others in that it is quite modern but none the less welcoming. Nothing was a problem and our room was fabulous and yes it had a bath (always a treat after a long day's walk). The food here is excellent as is the wine selection, just a wee bit sad that we only had one more part day's walking to go.

The food was beautiful, as were the surroundings. The staff were lovely and very jovial, polite and informative. The rooms were great very clean comfortable and modern. The entire complex is clean and very well run. The staff are a credit to the owners. We will definitley be back.

We stayed here for two nights, the room was small, dusty and not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Our room was not shown on the pictures on the website. We asked if we could use the pool and was given a straight no. This is despite seeing the locals using the pool and having PT sessions. The food is good and reasonably priced, but again I have to say the locals were given the nicer dining tables in the restaurant as we were seated in the bar area. Cath provided us with an excellent service at breakfast, she is welcoming, helpful and she a credit to the white house. Overall I would recommend as a place to eat but not to stay. But be aware if you are not local you may feel rather second class.

I stayed overnight and warmly welcomed. The room was very clean and well presented. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the highlight of the stay was the level of service and friendliness of Donna on breakfast. It was only her second day and yet she was very professional, and confident on her own.

Booked a spa day for two, wonderful experience. Lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff (a special mention to Clare who was lovely with us throughout the visit). Great food and relaxing treatment to finish off the day. We will be back. Diolch. M Davies

Went to the White House for a late Xmas prezzie for the ‘spa-cation’ break for two. The spa experience , the staff and our treatments were lovely. I would recommend the spa to friends. The room we stayed in (room 8) was extremely hot despite the heating being off. This made our nights sleep very uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were also sub standard for what we would expect of a spa hotel. We both had an awful nights sleep which was a shame after a lovely relaxing massage. Our evening meal and our breakfast in the restaurant was very good and I would recommend the food to everyone. One of the waiters (an older gentleman with white hair, we unfortunately didn’t catch his name) was extremely helpful and made our dining experience very pleasant. Overall, we had a nice time but the hotel rooms could do with some modernising and a few extra touches would be appreciated (no water/biscuits etc in rooms). Although the staff were all lovely, more general organisation is required in the day to day running of the hotel. For example, no one was aware we were booked under the spa cation package and therefore, trying to settle our bill at the end of our stay was troublesome as we were entitled to a significant discount and we had to explain this multiple times. We were also not offered a glass or Prosecco at lunch time which I only later realised was included in our package.
