Sadly we will not be returning as we were let down on several counts.We were welcomed? curtly and told our room would not be ready until later so we had to amuse ourselves elsewhere. 1. We sepecially booked the hotel as it advertised electric car charging points ( PLURAL). When we got there we were told that they none of them worked and no alternative was offered so we had to go searchimg! 2. The restaurant was not open all the time we were there so we had to go looking for a meal each evening! While we were there TWO coach parties arrived and were served an evening meal in the restaurant. We were told that we could not have a meal even though the kitchen was clearly open. The one saving grace was that the swimming pool was open each day and we coul relax there after a days sightseeing. Having stayed in many areas of France and in many different types of hotels we agreed this was one of the most unfriendly ones yet!

Sadly we will not be returning. We arrived early , hoping it might be possible to book in a little earlier after a tiring journey . The grey haired lady in reception takes the award for the poorest reception ever encountered on our travels . She was curt , rude and we were told non ! Not sorry but just plain non. So after lunch we returned with an hour to go , quite prepared to sit and wait. Again no smile curt non ! Within 15 mins a lovely young lady arrived and said our room was ready . I m afraid it wasnt pleasant to be treated as a nuisance not a welcome guest . The room was clean , view lovely over the river , beds uncomfortable and the bathroom was poor , no towel rails or hooks , the shower head could not be moved so best to sit in bath and a very dodgy sliding door . The restaurant was not open throughout our stay . We didnt sample breakfast as quite honestly they didnt deserve our money . Upon leaving 4days later she remained as curt and we were glad to leave, with no idea why we were treated so poorly .

A truly lovely hotel where you can relax in the beautifully diverse garden, swim in the pool and enjoy a great selection of food and drink. All of the staff go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. They really make you feel like you are part of their family. Highly recommended!

We were disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed on both the two nights we stayed! But the lovely receptionist was so helpful and found us a restaurant nearby. We had paid for one of the best hotel rooms on 2nd floor with lovely views of the estuary, and a large balcony, However, the road in between the front of the building and the quay carries quite a lot of traffic including early morning lorries and motorbikes! We were not disturbed too much if we kept the windows shut, but we like open air at night! Ah well, the staff here are lovely and so helpful. The ambience is calm and lovely clean lines, cool blue colours and super clean. It’s a modern hotel, recently refurbished to high quality. The swimming pool and gardens are just lovely. Treguier is a lovely and beautiful town. We’d definitely stay here again, but would want the restaurant to be available, and would choose a quieter room at the back overlooking the gardens. The breakfasts were good. No hot food, except boiled eggs, but a lovely selection.

We choose this hotel partly because of its location, but also because of the very good reviews of the restaurant food. We were not disappointed with either. The breakfasts too are highly recommended. We had booked superior rooms with balconies looking out over the estuary. The view from there was wonderful. We did suffer a little bit from the occasional noisy vehicle, but it was worth it. We'd booked the first night to eat in and were really pleased we had. Booking ahead is essential. We made good use of the pool at the back which is set is a beautiful garden. Our three nights gave us time to explore the locality which was well worthwhile. The only disappointment was not getting in quickly to visit the local brewery - whose craft beers are excellent and purchasable from the local hypermarket - they shut Sundays and Mondays. Ah well, that's France!

Although the hotel is rated with four stars, our room (#102) did not meet our expectations. There were only two electrical outlets in the bedroom, none in the bathroom. One of the outlets did not work. This created an inconvenience, because we travel with a number of items that need recharging (Apple watches, Air pods, I-pads, etc.). The room was also small and had no dresser or shelves for our clothings. We had two glasses of red wine which costed 26 Euros. However, the room was quiet, the staff very nice, the breakfast buffet outstanding, and the garden truly spectacular.

All round excellent appointed and run hotel. The best on our four night trip, everything was just so good. The restaurant has a Michelin star., so not cheap, but very, very good and worth money. Would certainly return and recommend. The owner was always around and available, helpful and friendly as was all of her staff who was a credit to the hotel. Nicely situated opposite the river and the marina with a nice little park and walk to the pretty town.

Testé l'établissement "Aigue-Marine" dans le cadre d'une soirée étape. Accueil chaleureuse tout du long du séjour. Chambre moderne et confortable. Excellent buffet du petit déjeuner, avec du choix et des bons produits. Quant au restaurant, cuisine de qualité avec un service attentionné et dans un lieu agréable.
