Randomly pick this cute little hotel on the beach for our first vacation without our kids after 27 years of being married. What a gem! One of our favorite things was taking advantage of the complimentary Fitness classes! Never in a million years would I have imagined that my husband would be doing yoga on the beach not once but twice and water aerobics too! The instructor Jillian Dzieciol @jjspositivelyfit was great! She made it fun and definitely made us want to come back for two additional classes! If you go to Thunderbird, outside of their trendy vibe that we learned about, you'll definitely love yoga on the beach! Tell Jillian we said hi from new jersey!

First time staying at Thunderbird for girl trip and it was phenomenal. Walking distance to the Beach, restaurant's, hotel staff we're helpful, friendly, YOGA on the beach was a bonus, we had Jillian Dzieciol as our yoga instructor and she was punctual, patient, attentive and thorough. Great hotel if every in Treasure Island

I was staying with my family as I move to Tampa. I took a yoga class with Jillian Dzieciol and it was very nice to meet some great people living in my new community. Jillian was a great instructor and it was a very mentally healthy experience. Would definitely do again.

The jumper vent was dirty and not in anyway clean or presentable for a guest. Then our sheets on the bed were dirty, we had sand an stains. We got replacements from the front desk which were once again stained. The front desk girl was nice but also said well they are clean. Yet I came up with stained sheets? Absolutely atrocious and a terrible experience for two different sheets to be stained I don’t care if they are “clean” per the front desk associate but that’s insane for someone to want to sleep on stained sheets. Photos show it. I expect someone to do something more. Because even the jumper being dirty is insane.

We booked a queen bedroom. We were upgraded to a beautiful newly renovated queen suite. Staff is friendly. Close to multiple restaurants and bars. Live music by main pool every day. On the beach though a long walk to the water. Parking is tight. There is a $39 resort fee per day. Most places unfortunately have that. Pools are open until 11:00 pm which can be loud at night.

This place has gone downhill, so sad to see it like this as my family have been here before this time we got sick from the mold. No efforts to clean were made, sand everywhere when we checked in. Kitchen items were filthy and the sponge given to use had a mold smell and as you can see dirt stuck in it. We won’t be back.

So much fun! The music and staff were pleasant and eager to assist and accommodate. We especially enjoyed staying active with coach Jillian D with the lightsaber fitness party. All the improvement in the last year have been outstanding. I do hope the outside bathrooms are next.

We loved this place and stayed for 3 nights before being evacuated due to Hurricane Helene. nobody actually told us and were on our way out for the day but decided to check with reception to make sure it was OK to stay and were then told we had to mandatory evacuate. from what we did see and experience were nice rooms, lovely views and great location. good atmosphere in tje tiki hut and libe music. lots of free parking. i would definately return and hope they recover from Helene reopen soon.
