My experience at this hotel was awesome. My grandsons loved it. I only had one bad experience, The breakfast was good but there was a long black hair on the plates near the pancake machine. I didn’t report it and i guess i should have. I removed the hair and just got another plate to out the pancakes on.  My grandson thought the pancake maker was so cool.

This hotel is a bit old and needs updating. The shower lacked hot water and the power outlets in the bathroom were inoperable. The headboard was old and tattered on one of the beds. Front desk employee was extremely pleasant and bubbly. Hotels are a bit pricey in Austin but if you want something a bit more current I recommend spending an extra 50-100 dollars. If you are in a pinch, this place is alright.
SpringHill Suites Austin West/Lakeway

Nice and new. Really lovely room and breakfast was good. Wonderful location off Hwy 620 near 71 West / Bee Cave / Hill Country Galleria. Downside : I booked and paid for my room through Trip app and several days after my stay Springhill charged the credit card number I gave them for incidentals to charge me for the room I had already paid for! Not cool. I travel quite a bit and use third part apps all the time and have never had this happen before with any hotels. I may? stay there again but I’m certainly going to keep an eye out for this. The only reason I caught it so quickly is because I have notifications set to text me anytime there is a charge to this credit card. Good thing.

I felt the best hotel in this trip to Texas. It is a new hotel with high cost performance. The waiters are still very enthusiastic. I will definitely choose this one in the future. Connected rooms are suitable for the elderly and children!
