Very Good

Exceptionally good value for money and the room was clean, everything worked as it should. Location was perfect as we had visited Versailles Palace during the day and only wanted somewhere to sleep before continuing our trip to the Loire. We also found a supermarket close and right next door a regional restaurant ( we didn't use) Ample parking, free good wifi.. Couple of negatives, reception spoke very little English and was not helpful, the room had a awful tobacco smell, that seemed to be impregnated into everything, we do not smoke so wasn't pleasant.

we arrived after a long drive from the UK we were given the key code to the triple room i had booked, but once inside found that someone else had not only already been given our room, but that they were still occupying it! we were able to walk in whilst all their belongings were in there...complete with all of their prescription medications lying around the room! we were then given a second code for a second room - this was inappropriate as it only had a double bed. so i complained again the third code and room we were given was a twin room, this time the window lock was broken and the window overlooked a low, flat roof, that could easily allow someone access to our room if they wanted. it also appears that it is not possible to lock the room from the inside (if you have the key code, you are able to gain access) and we absolutely did NOT feel safe at this hotel, so we found an alternate hotel nearby for our trip away this was the worst hotel experience i have ever encountered. not only was my booked room 'given away' to another guest, but for there not to be anything preventing us being given their door code, was totally unacceptable. luckily for the people occupying 'my' room, myself and my fellow traveller are honest people...it really could have been anybody that went in to that room

Let's start with the positive: the bed is spacious and comfortable. And parking is convenient. That's all. Now the negative: surprise when entering the room, there is a sink. Question......is there a bathroom? Yes, in the entrance. Phew! There is in fact a toilet and a shower cabin. But, surprise.... To enter the shower, you have to leave the door which leads into the corridor open, or possibly, "fax" yourself between the WC and the shower cubicle. Because even for a very small person, it is impossible to enter when you are facing the pivoting door, or perhaps while sitting on the toilet. Same maneuver when coming out all wet! Then, non-existent storage for clothes. Everything is laid out loosely on the bunk bed. We should also think about expanding the breakfast area, which is unsuitable for the number of rooms in the establishment. Much too small. In short, a hotel to use only for a single night's stay.

A caricature of a zone hotel. Far from the standards that the IBIS brand theoretically offers. Reception: not at all warm in the evening when arriving and unpleasant when leaving. It seems to be a recruitment criterion. Cleanliness: to make a long story short, we know that the previous user of the toilet and shower was brown. Comfort: you will sleep on the road but the advantage is that it covers the creaky bed, I even thought I had forgotten to close the TV window and you can hear the cars clearly. To conclude our great experience in this hotel, a good moral lesson like I was 8 years old because I brought my dog I couldn't place one. So, I hope they will see this message, so I'm taking this opportunity to post you some photos of why I had my dog. Now he no longer accepts because one day there is a mutt…..etc etc (ah damn so everyone has the same brand. And so it was renovated???? There was an Architect who worked on the acoustic then!!! Wow!! The guy is good). Our beast has educational diplomas. It destroys nothing and we don't hear it. In short, I paid my 5 balls of tax and that's it, I had other things to worry about than worrying about the customer relations attitude of the manager, it was wasting his time... A customer for years of ibises all over France, he is a first like that. The last one I hope. There are other hotels not far away, they may be better. Good luck to the next ones. We end with the positive so as not to stay angry. Frozen croissants are good.

Bonjour, c'était ma deuxième nuit a l'ibis Budget Trappes.
