Stayed here 2 nights with a Rick Steve's 11 day Sicily tour. This is a lovely hotel with spacious apartment rooms- I had a room with a balcony and a kitchenette. There was an in room expresso maker that I didn't use- I just waited for breakfast and it was wonderful. Breads, pastries, juices, fruit, yogurt, Italian cold cuts, coffees, teas. There is no parking which is true in many areas of this city. This is clean and quiet location.

We visited the roof top bar at Badia Nuova as it is open to the public. The waiter was extremely helpful and the bar has such a relaxed feel on the 4th floor overlooking the roof tops of Old Trapani town. The drinks and snacks were perfect. We would definitely visit again.

We had an amazing stay at Badia Nuova. The apartment is spacious, with separating doors to minimize noise from outside. However it was very quiet with no noise as it’s located on a side street. The air conditioning was good, very cold and there were two units in the apartment - one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. The rooftop lounge is great for sunset drinks. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bicycles available to use for free to get around the city or salt pans.

Try not to have a room on the third floor as there will be a terrible noise from the rooftop even after 10 PM. Very heavy noises like moving tables and chairs the whole time! Receptionist told me that it’s impossible!!! As if what I saying was not true. the moment of check out there was still the same lady who I spoked about the problem with and was not sorry at all about our negative experience. The breakfast was really embarrassing. Room was clean

Great location. In the heart of Trapani. We had a suite on the fourth floor with a terrace. All very nice but there was constant noise on the terrace from a compressor which spoiled the peaceful outlook. Breakfast was great value at 8 euros. Hotel restaurant is very good and you get a 20pc discount. All the staff are most helpful.

My room was large and had a kitchen. It was very comfortable and light. The hotel breakfast was mediocre at best, although the woman who worked breakfast was great. The juice and milk seemed "off" and several guests in my group had bad stomachs after eating there. The location is fine for walking around Trapani. Not super accessible for cars. Ok stay.

We loved Trapani and found the staff at this hotel really helpful - especially SAL - who is SO lovely and smiley. A great member of staff. I am gutted that I have forgotten the barman that worked with him - a guy with dark hair and glasses - but such a nice guy too. All the women on reception were lovely too. Hotel is SO central. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is an amazing little cafe with turquoise seats just around the corner. So close to the beach - and our Netflix worked! Gorgeous terrace bar. Loved here - and would happily return. Minibar well stocked. My kids loved it too. Perfect for teens.

This receptionist last night was great, however, the room we’re in has a broken AC unit that is blowing out a urine smell. We asked for a fan because it’s unbearable. They gave us another small AC that blows out hot air. We asked for assistance again and was told there was nothing they could do. Do NOT stay here!!!

The Badia Nuova is a perfect place to stay - in the historic section of Trapani, it is on a quiet side “street” (really an alley) with unusually large rooms. Room 304 had a full kitchen plus large bath and separate large bedroom. The hotel also has a lovely rooftop terrace/bar.
