We are writing to express our disappointment and frustration with our stay at Wild Coast Sun from March 15-17, 2024. As loyal customers who have been visiting your resorts since childhood, we had high expectations for a relaxing family getaway. Unfortunately, our experience fell short due to a private function that was not disclosed at the time of booking. The presence of this event resulted in: - Unavailability of the best restaurant, forcing us to dine at Spur - Limited access to the hotel private pool - Congestion and noise disturbances Despite raising our concerns onsite, we received no feedback or resolution. Furthermore, our special vegan breakfast request was compromised when a milk-based product was used, causing distress to my family. To compensate for the disrupted experience, we were forced to exceed our budget by over R3000, spending on alternative activities like segway, quad biking, spa treatments, and boat rides. Moreover, we had to endure intoxicated behavior from attendees of the private function. We are disappointed that our complaints were not addressed internally between March-August 2024, leading us to share our experience publicly.
