What a lovely hotel! It is a bit far from the center of Tralee, but a short taxi ride away. You can walk around the grounds- be sure to see the beehives! The food is excellent- and breakfast is included in your room charge. The service is very good. There are little seating nooks in the lobby where you can enjoy a cup of tea and just read. They have bicycles for your use as well. The rooms are large and well furnished. I enjoyed my stay there immensely!

The Ballygarry never disappoints. It is luxurious, yet warm & welcoming. It is a home away from home. We are international guests from the U.S. who never miss a chance to stay at the Ballygarry. The owner, Padraig McGillicuddy, along with his amazing staff are exceptional. Owen, Oisin, Nuala, Noreen, & Cathal, to name a few, are all excellent in the field of hospitality. The amazing people that work at the Ballygarry are what make it memorable & guarantee a return visit. The food is high quality & delicious, especially the Sea Bass & the Full Irish Breakfast. Exploring the grounds on foot or by bicycle and availing of the gym & spa are all recommended. The Ballygarry is top notch. You won’t find a nicer hotel anywhere in the world!

This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. We are from Wexford and came from a five star hotel during our holiday but Ballygarry was much more quaint and personal than the hotel we came from. We loved the little cubby holes/ rooms around the hotel where you could just chill and have a drink, rather than being in the bar (we had a toddler and baby with us). The food was superb as were the drinks. The spa: omg I had a seaweed bath with my husband. I thought it was going to be ‘notions’ but I genuinely felt like I was floating on air. The spa itself is beautiful with such pleasant landscaping, a little peace of heaven. To top it all off the wood walk around the hotel makes you feel like a child again exploring all of the different routes. Will defo be back at some stage to recharge again. Highly recommend this hotel!

Set in peaceful countryside yet easy to reach, it offers warm attentive service, superb dining, luxurious spa treatments and elegant rooms with stately old-world charm. Their vouchers are used with ease throughout the hotel; an ideal gift for a loved one who deserves a treat. The perfect break, just when you need it..

Staff make this place that extra bit special. I've had a restful sleep, stunning food and exceptional surroundings. I can't give one bad word about this place. I'd happily spend a week here. Thank you to all the staff who genuinely act like they love their work. A concept all too rare.

We spent two nights at the hotel. Our room was lovely and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! Breakfast was included each morning and dinner one evening. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. We took long walks on the grounds too. Would definitely recommend!

Unfailingly perfect. Here for lunch with my mum. Food gorgeous. Staff so friendly service fantastic. Just polished off teriyaki salmon yuuum. Something chocolate for desert and a nice cappuccino. Cater very well for people with a disability

Stunning hotel, exceptional staff, great spa and beautiful views of the mountains, if your looking for a relaxing stay this is definitely for you , dinner was also very tasty town is only few mins by cab and great live gigs can be found, just absolutely stunning can't fault the place
