Booked this hotel with HP through a hotel agent. Our experience: nice spacious room with balcony in a rural area. Delicious and extensive breakfast. Very good dinner, with a daily choice of deliciously prepared fresh fish and meat dishes. Friendly staff. Parking at the hotel itself (quickly filled up) or otherwise at the fish pond. We found the acoustics in the restaurant to be a minus point. The floor of our room was also quite dusty.

Wir waren "nur" zum Essen da. Das Alte Kurhaus liegt wunderschön zwischen Fischteichen und Wald. Sowohl das Haus/Restaurant als auch Garten sind relativ neu gestaltet, sehr gepflegt. Wunschgemäß hatten wir einen Tisch im Schatten mit Blick auf den Wald. Es gibt reichlich Fisch auf der Speisekarte in unterschiedlichen Zubereitungen. Wir hatten die ausgezeichnete Fischsuppe, dann Forelle Müllerin (köstlich knusprige Haut), gebratene Saiblingsfilets. Alles sehr reichlich und schön angerichtet. Preis/Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich, könnte aber etwas häufiger nachschauen, ob man noch einen Wunsch hat. Aber das liegt evtl. auch an Personalmangel. Und: Wenn ich einen Weißwein zum Hauptgericht bestelle, dann sollte er auch zum Hauptgericht serviert werden und nicht zusammen mit dem Aperitif - dann war er beim Hauptgericht nämlich nicht mehr kalt. Alles in alles ein sehr angenehmes Lokal in schöner Umgebung mit Ruhe rundherum. Wer das schätzt, ist hier genau richtig.

Wat kan ik hier over vertellen? Zeer aangename bediening, mooie kamer die van alle gemakken voorzien is, prima bedden, zodat je uitgeslapen opstaat (als de kikkers uit de nabijgelegen meertjes je niet wakker kwaken...) Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en smakelijk, goede koffie, zo veel als je maar wil. Diner: zeer goed eten, voldoende grote porties en, alweer, heel vriendelijke bediening. En dat alles voor een uiterst redelijke prijs. Wat betreft de omgeving: zeer geschikt voor wandel, fiets of andere uitstappen. Mooie landschappen en steden zijn binnen ieders bereik zodat zowel de natuur- als de cultuurliefhebber zijn hart kan ophalen. Oja: dat zou ik bijna vergeten: het Frankenland biedt ook enkele uitstekende wijn- èn biersoorten, dus ook op dat vlak is het genieten geblazen.

Die Lage ist ruhig und ländlich. Nach Bamberg ist es nicht weit. Das Haus besticht durch schöne Zimmer und ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Die Karte ist nicht groß, aber die angebotenen Gerichte sind sehr schmackhaft und regional. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam.
