Kinosaki Onsen Tokitotoki

The hot spring hotel is about a 5-minute walk across from Jogasaki Onsen Train Station and next to Jizo hot spring. The location is very good. All the reception staff are warm and thoughtful, with a sense of ceremony. The rooms are newly decorated and the facilities are very modern and complete. Even the humidifier is filled with hot spring water. The check-in is full of rituals, and the hotel offers a unique afternoon tea. The hotel's private hot spring is also very good. In winter, it is equipped with an orange hot spring, and there is also very considerate ice tea for drinking in the hot spring. However, the quality of the food is good, but there are not many varieties. It is not really a kaiseki meal. It is just a small bug.
Kinosaki Onsen Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei

After studying Japanese for the last year, I was really excited to visit Japan and our travel agency had wanted us to try an Onsen, however, despite doing our best to respect the culture and locals, the front staff made it clear they didn’t care for foreigners before we even had a chance to make an impression. The checkout staff ended up being much nicer, but we were so uncomfortable here, we checked out as early as we could. Even when getting breakfast in the lines, we were both shoved by locals staying here. We never had this experience other places, especially when it’s a line that naturally moves. This was our last night of a 10 day trip, and it left a pretty awful feeling behind for us. We wouldn’t recommend this location. In general, if you like foods like raw crab meat, you’ll enjoy the kaiseki meal. We found out it wasn’t something we loved, however, this is a preference and wasn’t reflected in the review. The accommodation is a bit older, but okay.

Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen-

The hotel is located in the middle of Wenquan Street. It is opposite the Ichinoseyu. It is very convenient. We ordered one berth and one meal. The Japanese food for breakfast was very interesting. The waiter spoke Chinese and she taught us how to cook parent-child soup. Being vegetarian, the hotel can help us prepare vegetarian meals. The waiter taught me to wear kimono, send socks, and choose a suit and kimono for free. It rained that night, and the hotel provided free umbrellas and rain boots, which was very thoughtful. The hotel manager's English is very good, easy to communicate, and can store luggage. This is a very quiet and comfortable Japanese-style hotel that has given us many memories!

The hotel is quite clean. Except there are no beautiful yukata to choose from, everything else is good Because it is a very traditional hot spring hotel, you sleep on tatami mats and cloth balls. It’s a bit hard to get used to sleeping, but it’s still a very special Japanese hotel experience! The PS scenery is quite beautiful, very similar to scenes in comics By the way, the dim sum is super delicious and goes just right with tea. It's a pity that I didn't buy it Because I didn’t calculate the time well, I didn’t have time to buy souvenirs. I will definitely buy it if I have the chance to go there again.
Kawaguchiya Kinosaki Riverside Hotel
4.4/547 Reviews
My wife and I had a relaxing holiday recently and a great experience at the Kawaguchiya Kinosaki Riverside Hotel. We took a train from Shin Osaka Station (2.5 hour) and a slow walk from the station to Kawaguchiya. (If you are following our route, when you reach the river, Turn Right and walk to the end of the road where you will arrive at a T junction, Turn Left. You will see a Idemitsu gas station, the hotel is just right opposite). The weather was cool that day and the town was quite thin in traffic. Check in was quite strict at 3.00pm, so we wandered out for a ramen lunch before returning again to check in. We had a Japanese room which looked out to Higashiyama Park and a view of the autumn leaves. We’d booked a half board package. The kaiseki dinner was elaborate and stunning - visually stimulating and delicious. Breakfast was equally well presented. Before dinner we’d put on the yukata robe and the geta clogs, took a walk to the onsen bath (Satono-yu) next to the train station. The geta is very uncomfortable but quite a fun experience walking round town in the Japanese attire. Staff are friendly and helpful. We’d requested for a adapter. The reception staff initially told us they don’t have any. We tried again and show them images of adapters and they came back with two boxes of adapters for us to choose. Overall we had a fun time and a relaxing holiday at Kawaguchiya.
