Reasonably priced (not cheap, but cheap for Kinosaki Onsen). Easy access, just 1-2 minutes from the station. The house was renovated and the walls were thin, so we could hear the sounds of cars outside, wooden clogs, and snoring from the floor above. It was disappointing to find 10 mysterious hairs and food scraps left in the room. The phone number listed on trip.com did not connect to the inn, but to a proxy service provided by another company. And that phone number could not be used to confirm check-in time, etc. I managed to find the phone number I really needed with a Google search. If you contact them in advance, you can check in by yourself if you want to check in after 6pm.

Stayed 1 night. This is a simple guesthouse above the coffee shop Ashiyo Cafe. Minimalist design conversion of an old house. Room had very soft mattress on floor and attached toilet. Note no shower as guest will visit local onsen baths for washing. Yukata, gets and washing kit provided in a bag to go to the various onsens. The ticket costs 1500 JPY for day . Breakfast provided downstairs at coffee shop. Note few places open for the evening meals as most people are eating at their hotel. There is a convenience store about 100m away and can get food to bring back. There is a microwave to heat up. At night when the coffee shop is closed the main door is open for guests to come in. A relatively budget option in a tourist town. It was ok for one night. But steep stairs would be difficult for those with mobility issues

First of all, the staff were very kind. Although it was sudden, they allowed me to check in about 2 hours early. Also, we were able to borrow yukatas freely, and there were many cute ones, and they even provided hair accessories, which was very nice. Breakfast was also included, so I think it was very good for the price. However, I was bothered by the fact that I could hear people passing by the room. But other than that, the quality was better than the price. Also, most of the things I had seen in reviews that said "I wish they had..." had been improved, so I was impressed with that.

It's a tourist spot so the location and facilities are new so I had no problems staying there. However, it was unfortunate that the guest in the next room was making a lot of noise, probably because they had a child.
