It was my first ryokan experience. The room was a bit outdated but still functional. The highlight was the shared bathroom with an onsen—you don’t even need to visit other onsens. You can simply relax and enjoy it in the hotel, often with no other guests around.

The overall hotel stay was pleasant. Location is awesome. The room is a bit run down though. The private outdoor onsen is nice. The dinner and breakfast we had in hotel however was just okay. Most food was all preset on table and barely warm at the set dinner time. Would recommend to stay at the hotel only but not have dinner there.

The room was spacious and comfortable for 4 people. Breakfast and dinner were delivered to the room. The Chinese service girl introduced the food enthusiastically. I was very satisfied with the service and the food was so exquisite and delicious. After checking in at 3 o'clock, I took the card to the town to soak in the hot springs, and then booked dinner at 6 o'clock. The hotel sent us to the station the next morning. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in the central point of Kinosaki Onsen. The location is impeccable and very convenient. All the outer hot springs are within 10 minutes. The staff are very considerate and speak fluent English.
