The ryokan is around 15 minutes walk from the train station. Kaiseki dinner was good but the lady who served me wasn’t attentive. She disappeared for a good half an hour. I needed to look for her to ask for some rice. The pick up points for shuttle bus wasn’t clear. I almost missed the pick up when returning to the ryokan.

It's a lovely hotel in traditional Japanese style. It has a pretty inside garden and an onsen (no private onsens for booking, only common ones for all hotel guests that are divided for males and females). Hotel provides you with a yukata and a haori for your stay (you don't rent it, they are included in price), which is very convenient. When I asked the receptionist if I can buy them, 'cause I loved them so much, she said I can take them for free if I want. I double checked to avoid any miscommunication, but she insisted that I don't have to pay extra for those. Everything in the fridge, including alcohol, is free. Hotel is a bit far from the main street, but has a transfer, so I'd say it's fine. We ordered a dinner and breakfast, and both were absolutely wonderful, had several courses.

it's quite far from all the restaurants and all the onsen but they got facilities to send you guys to visit all places around kinosaki. this shuttle car service start at 4pm. They provide the yukata as well with the traditional japanese sandal (getta) to wear to walk around to the city. quite far from the train station but luckily the tourist information service there provides free shuttle bus to this place. Even quite far from other places, but we love to stay here. If you guys like walking like us, you guys will pass by the tunnel as shortcut from the hotel to city. the breakfast experience is so cool for the food and setting. they provides us private room to enjoy the breakfast.

We were delighted with this place. Everything is very authentic, beautiful, the staff is super friendly and polite, speaks English. Be sure to take a room with a kaiseki dinner - it's something amazing, delicious and super authentic. They also give you a yukata, you can go out for a walk along the main streets and go with a subscription (issued by the hotel) to 7 public onsens. You will be taken on your own transfer, since the hotel is located a little further than the main street. The hotel itself also has one onsen, I recommend going there too. The room is amazing, has all the amenities, I'll leave a photo)) In one night of stay, we threw off the fatigue that had accumulated over 5 years, I recommend staying!
