Great location at Lake Toya. Able to view the lake, Mount Yotei and Nakajima island from the hotel. Do note that it is dependent on weather, same for the fireworks display. Male and female onsen not located at the same place. They will switch location at certain time of the day.

location is great. amenities are good too. there’s kids area that is pretty filled with lots of toys to play with.
dinner buffet was pretty mehh while breakfast buffet was good.
service was decent. though not very friendly for folks who don’t speak japanese as they mainly only speak japanese.
toilet is horrendously cramp and pillows were very mehh.
all in all, value for money. decent if you’re not looking for much in a hotel.

The food was quite good for the breakfast and dinner. Hiwever, the room was quite old and required renovation and the in room air conditioning seemed broken with dripping hose in washroom.

Felt that the hotel was overrated and over-priced, though dinner and breakfast were provided. Room amenities are limited. Furniture was rather old.
You need to book a time slot for dinner. We checked-in at about 4pm ++, and we were left with the last slot, and got to eat fast to be in time to watch the fireworks.
There was a good variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Be early for breakfast as there is no reservation.
The amenities in the Onsen were good. You just need to bring your towel. Body wash, shampoo, lotion, body milk etc are available for use. Combs are sterilized before use.

The 8F bath is a little dirty and always crowded. Food is nothing to shout about unless you are going for cooked food and rice. Nothing much to do in this place, one night is sufficient.
Policy on trip com says kids from 0-2 stay free if they do not need meals and extra bedding but hotel insists on charging me for my baby.

Well experience for my honeymoon. Excellent view to the fireworks. The only bad is the aircond is not cold and it is hot during summer
