Even though I presented the reservation voucher, I was guided to a different room [Room 2 for 2 people] than the reservation [Room 1 for 4 people].
I requested that they proceed with the reservation, but they asked for an additional fee to use Room 2 for 2 people.
I had no choice but to pay an additional 8,600 yen and use Room 2 for 2 people. I have traveled a lot both domestically and internationally, but this is the first time this has happened.
It was a very cold day, but the heating in the room was not working, so I spent the night shivering from the cold.
My trust in Japanese people and in the agency (Trip) is collapsing.

2023/10/15-16 Two twin rooms for two nights
Self-service check-in (there is a piece of paper with the guest's name and key written on it and placed at the counter). If you have any questions, there is a phone on the desk to contact the boss directly.
The price is really cheap, so don’t really expect too much from the public facilities and environment~ But I am very satisfied with the kitchen utensils that are all available! (We cooked dinner and breakfast ourselves~the kitchen is really convenient and spacious)
There are free bicycles you can borrow, but they are not very easy to ride.
If you don’t have anything to eat, the boss has prepared a self-service area, selling many things including instant rice/instant noodles/noodles! It’s a really considerate youth hostel.
It’s just that the environment is really old~ People who are not used to going out to the toilet at night should not book here⋯⋯
We took a bath at the nearby Towadenso (with coupon ¥500 → ¥350)

Simple, linen is fine, there were no bugs in the room even in August, I didn't have any problems with bugs during my 2 nights stay, it's getting old, but it's not appropriate to describe it as unclean, but you can use the common areas (toilet, washroom, shower) It depends on the morals of the person.The minimum manners are observed during my stay.I don't think it's possible for people who are fastidious, but it's tasteful and good value for money, so there's no problem at all.

非常特別的體驗，一個快80歲老爺爺經營的，因為身體不是很好所以全自助，到處貼的都是老闆的各種提示，被單怎麼換，附近怎麼玩，有事可以給老闆打電話。老闆自己喜歡旅行，可以翻看很多他去各地旅行的年代久遠的照片，因為受到過很多照顧所以經營這個旅館也想把這種愛傳遞出去。建築有些年頭了，可能因為老闆年紀很多地方缺乏維修，性價比非常高，如果對衞生要求比較高的人要慎重選擇，換季的時候臭蟲很多，要自己用膠布粘。
