The boss (front desk guy) was very polite. We arrived early and carried our luggage to the room directly. The room facilities were really simple (poor) and there was no elevator.

Great location in Tours - on one of the main streets for visitors, walking distance from the station, the tourist office and lots of restaurants. Rue Colbert is a historic street and so they have had to work to make the rooms suit the modern traveller. At the same time, we got the impression that all 9 rooms are furnished and decorated differently from each other. Ours was interesting with one or two quirky features. Breakfast was good, and good value. The host knew that we were booking from the UK and communicated in fluent English.

Very pleased with this hotel. Not fancy, but central, with tastefully and comfortably furnished room. Very clean. Friendly reception and good breakfast (croissant was excellent - often they are disappointing in France). Bon rapport qualité prix. My room was at the back so completely quiet - rooms in the front may be noisy as there is a lot of street life outside (though no traffic). No lift but an offer to carry my bag upstairs, which I didn't need but others might welcome

Fantastic find. On a busy pedestrianised street full of life, shops and restaurants, yet I still had a room that was absolutely silent at night. Very nice welcome, help with parking (underground car park a five minute walk away, 12,50 for an overnight stay). Good local restaurants, very clean and pleasant room, comfortable bed. The patron was a really nice guy who spoke English to me when I arrived after driving from Calais, and happy to switch to French the next morning when I had had a sleep! Lovely breakfast, including a choice of two kinds of butter. Class.

Arrived by train from Paris and walked to hotel. Room was on their second floor (quite large) at back of hotel, so very little noise from surroundings. Everything was well done without being over fussy. Breakfast was traditionally French with huge croissant, baguette, jam, cheese, yogourt etc….all delivered with a friendly manner. On departure, the owner booked us a local taxi that came to the door (we weren’t sure if taxis could travel down the narrow street, but access is fine) to whisk us to St Pierre de Corps..the out of town railway station. All perfect

The location is central, room clean and modern, comfortable bed. Lovely view from the room, very friendly staff. The hotel is in an animated street full of multiethnic restaurants. I would recommend it. An ideal place for exploring Tours.

The welcome was given by the owners who are wonderful people It feels good to have such a friendly contact who listens to the customer For the room we overlooked the back in a quiet area The very good quality bedding As well as the bathroom Breakfast was wonderful We will definitely return
