We had a wonderful stay at La Heraudiere. A cosy and peaceful B&B, perfectly located to visit the Loire castles. We stayed in the family room with our two little girls ( 2 and 4), the room was extremely well equipped with toys and children books to keep them entertained and spacious enough to be comfortable for 4 people. Breakfast was lovely, with bread, croissants, delicious homemade jams and yogurts. Eggs, ham and cheese were also available upon demand, freshly made. Dominique and Virginie were excellent hosts, very kind and attentive to children, sharing knowledge and advices about the area. The B&B is a short tram ride from the city center (20mins) or 10mins by car. It is possible to park the car inside the gate and a charger is also available for electric vehicles. All in all a lovely stay, highly recommended!

If you are in Tours, I cannot recommend a better place to stay. Dominique and Verginie are wonderful hosts. Their graciousness knows no bounds. It is a small place so you feel en famille. From support at getting around to superb restaurant recommendations, they made for a delightful visit.

Tucked away in an otherwise anonymous suburb, this place is a real oasis. It is an old Manor House, surrounded by a leafy garden and hidden from the street. The moment you step inside the large metal gates, it feels special - beautifully furnished with antiques, but with plenty of modern comforts too, including excellent bedding and a good bathroom. Dominique and Veronique made us very welcome, and provided a good breakfast with home made yoghurt, home made jams, juice and fresh bread and croissants. Although La Heraudiere is 3 km from the city centre, it’s an easy tram ride - so saving on parking hassles. It’s also a very good place to stay if you’re travelling by car, as we were, because there is good secure off street parking. Strongly recommended.

We were lucky enough to stay in the original farmhouse section of the property. We had our own entrance from the garden and an interconnecting door to the rest of the property. A room full of character and history. Our hosts were charming and the breakfast was excellent. Secure parking was a bonus. The tram stop for the centre of Tours was only a ten minute walk away. A shame we were only here for one night as this would be an excellent base for exploring the area of La Loire.

This renovated farmhouse now in an urban area was the best accommodation we experienced on our road trip along the Loire Valley. The location is a few kilometres from the city centre but this had been explained to us and it was close to a tram route. It was renovated to a high level and clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with homemade produce. Lack of recent reviews is probably down to the use of ***********. I would encourage people to use trip advisor if you like a place. I would stay again.

Its is tucked away in an unpreposessing part of Tours. Once there it is lovely. Very clean, comfortable bed, super breakfast - home made jams and yogurt. A good experience whilst we stopped en route to the Dordogne.

Accueil très chaleureux dans cette belle maison entourée d'un magnifique jardin. Les chambres sont très confortables, le petit déjeuner très bon et les propriétaires très sympatiques. Logement excentré du vieux Tours ais il y a un tram à 10 mn à pied. Nos 6 vélos ont été mis à l'abri.

Une excellente adresse et un accueil des plus agréable. La maison est très belle et au calme. Notre chambre à l'étage était spacieuse avec une literie au top ! Le petit déjeuner copieux, les confitures et yaourts maison un délice. Un plus de pouvoir se garer dans le parc de la maison. Nous recommandons et reviendrons sans hésiter.

Bella casa di campagna riadattata a B&B con grande giardino davanti e possibilità di parcheggio interno. Abbiamo soggiornato nelle camere al primo piano raggiungibili mediante una scala interna: avviso le persone alte che le camere sono nel sottotetto a spiovente con travi a vista. La colazione è stata buona, tutta con prodotti locali. Il padrone di casa è molto gentile e prodigo di consigli. Il prezxo delle camere è abbastanza elevato se confrontato con altre strutture nelle vicinanze. Peccato che al nostro arrivo abbiamo dovuto attendere circa un'ora fuori dal B&B, nonostante avessimo chiaramente indicato l'ora di arrivo, perché i proprietari avevamo avuto un imprevisto: sarebbe bastati semplicemente un messaggio o una telefonata.
