L'Effrontée

My family rented two of the three rooms at this guesthouse in June '23. The house itself is charming and full of history. It is very well kept. The grounds are stunning, with olive and lemon trees growing on the terraces surrounding the beautiful pool. Matthieu is a wonderful host. It is obvious he takes pride in his home, and really enjoys hosting others. His breakfasts were wonderful....each morning he would have a different "special dish". Matthieu was also eager to give us great tips on what to do each day, and suggested various activities. He is the reason that this property gets such high praise! We would highly recommend L'Effrontee for anyone looking to stay in this region!

the owners, Mathieu. his spouse Cedric and Mathieu's mother do absolutely everything to make their guest happy. Their rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. Every single amenity is of the highest quality: bedding, towels, bathrobe was from the best French houses. This trio has an eye for the most tiny detail: Pool has no chloride, the maintenance is spectacular. The gardens are immaculate. Mathieu and Cedric have an eye for details. The breakfast and the dinner are prepared in house with finest local products. The expression from farm to table really applies here. Mathieu is real pro in the kitchen. We had some of our best dinners in France right there; food, service, ambiance beyond expectation. I forgot to mention Ploufy, a mini Yorky who play soccer with a ball larger than him,,,he dribbles with his legs and head like a real pro. To describe "l'Effrontee" could be 10 pages long.
