Hotel Arena Toulouse

It seems like the reception staff at Arena hotel in Toulouse are petty thief’s. The staff in the reception seem to have a system of stealing the full deposit from some of their visitors, mainly women. They obviously think it’s worth it and they obviously don’t care about occasionally bad reviews. We were charged for the same room twice. We booked a room in advance, on our way to Toulouse, on Oct 31 and the hotel then charged a deposit of 102 Euro to our credit card. At arrival Oct 31 we were charged 103,65 Euro for the same room to the same card. We discovered that a double payment had been made almost at once, and consulted the man in the reception. He answered that it was standard procedure to reserve the whole amount as deposit and that it would be refunded within a few days. We asked again when we checked out the next day and was treated with disrespect when the same man rudely said that he already had answered our question. We realise that the 102 Euro deposit they charged us with when we booked the room is stolen and all we have to say is shame on you! Honte à vous tous!
