New metamorphosis a few years later when the Opera Dance School of Toulouse makes it its own.
In this new designation, the Grand Hotel de lOpera tribute to its talented tenants who only had to cross the street to perform on stage at the Theatre du Capitole.
In 1980, the amazing building is refurbished as a sumptuous 4 Star boutique hotel combining the mobility and the charm of Toulouse mansions.
Ever since, the reputation of the Grand Hotel de lOpera is established. Our hotel continues to warmly welcome guests from all over the world.
In 1996, a fire destroyed no less than 36 rooms. Two years later, Rouleau Hotellerie acquires the Grand Hotel de lOpera, gives it a fully new direction and restores the hotel to its full splendor.
The interior design was magnified by Elisabeth Drapeau.

Was up in NY for graduation ceremony with our family and had the double suite with a separate living room and kitchenette. Very helpful and pleasant staff, excellent neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. And washer /dryer available is a big plus

I thought the location was perfect as it is only 15 minutes from the airport, and about 15 minutes from city centre - tram is right outside hotel, which was brilliant!
The hotel is clean but very basic, the only hotel I have ever stayed at with no room service, bed not done the next day and no fresh towels provided other than when you check in. Didn’t expect the bed to be so close to the door when we entered the room and the bed was a small double so didn’t get a great night sleep either. I wish I could give a better review because the staff were all so lovely and welcoming and helpful, but I’m being as honest as I can for others. Karina on check in and throughout our trip was so helpful and friendly- she really gave us good tips on getting around Toulouse and what to see etc. hotel full of friendly, lovely staff but as for the hotel - unlikely to stay here again!

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent clean accommodation and facilities in the room, very comfortable, and within walikng distance of the centre, local shops and restaurants nearby. easy to get the bus if you don't want to walk, and airport bus stops are near too. As in other reviews, you do have to take your own rubbish out but it's a designated room on the groundfloor... no going outside! If I return to Toulouse I would happily stay here!!

The pool looks great, but right next to the breakfast restaurant and there is an open-air bar in the evening, where swimming is a bit awkward. There is a great park outside the pool, and getting up early in the morning is great.

The room and facilities are all of a very high standard with plenty of room to make oneself comfortable. The Fitness centre was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast was very good though more hot options during the winter months would be nice. The staff were all smart, polite and pleasant to deal with. Opposite the railway station and metro gives quick access to the city and beyond whilst, for the fit, it is a short walk to the centre. The lights in the fitness centre are on a sensor/timer. This was a cause for concern when the lights went off in the sauna as there was no movement outside. I mentioned this to the reception at the time.

After a gruelling journey,we arrived in reception about 8pm. The receptionist was brilliant - friendly, helpful, kind to the kids. The room was beyond expectations - a little kitchenette, good bathroom, sofa bed for us, double bed for the kids. Very clean, well equipped. The bar was open, the restaurant unfortunately not, bit the wine was good, the hotel staff lovely. Can't recommend enough.

Très bel hôtel, accueil professionnel et agréable, mais pour une chambre confort problème dans la salle de bain, cette vasque d'angle n'est pas pratique et manque de place. Aucune étagère pour poser ses affaires de toilettes (parfum, déodorant, crème...). La douche à l'italienne n'a rien d'exceptionnelle et n'est pas si grande que ça. Nous avons pris un café le samedi vers 16h et nos tasses étaient toujours au même endroit le lendemain soir, ni lavées, ni changées. Quant au petit déjeuner, bof ! plus de croissants à 9h dimanche matin, ils sont arrivés 1/2h après. Les différents pains ne sont pas changés régulièrement, il reste souvent le bout. Les pots de confitures n'ont pas de couvercle et sont donc ouverts depuis 6h1/2 à tous vents. Bref, bonne literie, belle chambre, bien insonorisée mais il reste beaucoup à améliorer pour un tel hôtel. Autre chose, sur le récapitulatif on nous demande de mettre un avis sur un lien qui ne prend plus les avis !

AAnonymous UserThe most pleasant room when traveling in Toulouse, everything in the room is ”old”, it is said to restore the appearance of 1930, the wooden floor is also crunching, the location of the room is also excellent, the window is the municipal square, in the morning and afternoon, there will be sunlight coming in, Quite atmospheric. The hotel is out of the downtown area, there are many restaurants and supermarkets, but the authentic good restaurants still have to go out for a while. Fortunately, Toulouse is not big, you can walk anywhere.

Hygienic: Good sanitary conditions, clean and tidy. The toilet is separated from wet and dry. Very good accommodation experience, much more spacious than the hotel in the center of Paris.

I stayed at a hotel in Toulouse centre, close to all the main attractions and the Jean Jaures metro station. The lobby had a modern and hipster vibe which included two arcade machines for visitors. The rooftop bar was nice, but the city view wasn't that great. The part I didn't like was the design and layout of the bedroom. When you walk in, you're greeted by a completely red room, and the masks on the bedside lamps with the red lights made me feel uncomfortable. They went for a modern look, but it made the room feel cramped, and there was no space for coffee and tea services. The restaurant was popular with locals and visitors, but it can get noisy if a party is booked there. They sold some excellent party food, but the party can be disruptive if you're trying to sleep in the room above. Highly recommend it for couples but less so for businesses and families.

HHONGYIThe apartment is superb and can be checked in early, the front desk is super friendly. The access control is very safe. The high floor view is good for sunsets and sunrises. The apartment is clean and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped and even has a dishwasher. Convenient transportation, diagonally opposite the Asian restaurant street. The only downside is that the breakfast is small and the price is not high.

Iiks_BVB_AntlersCospa is the best. I didn't expect to be able to stay in such a large room at this price. If you try to go out late at night, the entrance to the hotel will be closed, but there is no problem at all. The bathroom is large and the bathtub is attached, and it is happy for Japanese.

GGuest UserWe had a very warm welcome from all the staff, especially Priestly, who took the time to point out all the places to visit in the city centre. He greeted us every day with a smile and pleasant conversation. The breakfast was fresh and items replenished regularly. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet as the hotel is on a busy road opposite the railway station. We will happily stay there again. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Aanne1234The room was soundproofed, although it was a house facing the street, and the outside sound was basically not heard after closing the window. Breakfast is OK, there is freshly squeezed orange juice. There is no small refrigerator in the room, but the hotel let us put the things we bought in the refrigerator in their kitchen, which was very intimate. The staff is kind and courteous.
There is no hot water in the room.

GGuest UserLocated in a quiet small street, despite the proximity of the boulevard, 5 minutes from the chapter, 150 metres from the JEAN-JAURES bus stops,. Smiling, hot, preventive, listening, available staff; comfortable, clean, personalized room with air conditioning, all white corridor and lobby, wooden frames suspension decor, All this gives warm and a certain charm to the hotel, rooms with view or access to the patio, very comfortable bedrooms, additional cousins, cleanliness, quiet hotel, continental breakfast with good invoice; small bemol: room service not always top: 1 single wallpaper in a double room, no gobelet, all this claimed at the reception, that the room is not completely made every day doesn't bother us, but forced to ask to toilet paper on 4 e days, In the heart of the city, the hotel is very comfortable and very well located.
