Plaza Hotel Capitole Toulouse

Toulouse City Center Toulouse|2.07km from Auchan SUPERMARCHE TOULOUSE PONTS JUMEAUX
As the picture shows, this is an IHG hotel in an architecturally lovely building on one corner of Place du Capitole, the main square in Toulouse which also houses the Town Hall, many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and polite and always wishing to help whether at Reception, the Bar or on Housekeeping duty. The bedrooms ( we had 536 ) which had 2 double beds, tv, fridge with daily water, tea / coffee station, a very comfortable armchair, desk and office chair. The bathroom was standard and met expectations. Housekeeping was excellent. The lounge / bar area was rather quaint but adequate and a fitness room was in the basement ( we did not use ). Breakfast was also downstairs and consisted of a hot / cold buffet style with a selection of cereals, fruit/ breads /pastries etc. Egg options available on request. Similar every day but more than adequate. Top Tip - if travelling from the airport, take the Tram ( T1 ) to Arenes and then transfer to the Metro to Capitole and then a short 5 minute walk to Place du Capitole and the hotel ( ticket 1.70 euros ...taxi 25 euros ! ) The hotel is also near all the main attractions with the main railway station about 20 mins away via Joan of Arc Square. Finally, the FREE electric minibus passes through the Square every 15 mins. Wave it down to stop and then enjoy a gratis tour of Toulouse to get your bearings. It will even stop just outside the hotel. Enjoy.

Minimes - Barriere de Paris Toulouse|0.13km from Auchan SUPERMARCHE TOULOUSE PONTS JUMEAUX
First time staying in this type of residence hotel and it was perfect for our family of 4. The reception area is bright, spacious, calm and welcoming. Check in and out was seamless and so easy. Wish all hotels cld be like this. We were concerned hotel maybe more for business travellers but v family friendly. A really nice touch in reception was the pods of tables and comfy chairs, the fuzzball table, the giant teddies and the squishy pool of balls which our kids loved. Not sure if hotel aware but it's perfect for kids with sensory needs. Receptionist v relaxed as some balls spilled out but we made sure all put back in the pool when finished. The outside terrace lovely too. Location of hotel perfect right beside canal du midi and lots of small supermarkets ( which open late!) bakey and pharmacy on same street It s a bit out of city centre but stilll walkable We wandered home one evening along the canals looking at the lit up bridges took 30 mins but prob 20 mins if walking faster. V good transport links to the centre and our receptionist was very helpful, she gave us great advice on metro/bus and how to get around. Our suite was very spacious, with a separate kitchen, living and bedroom. The couch in the living area converted into a very comfortable bed for our 2 son's and our bed was soooo comfortable. After a week in a mobile home it was like heaven. In fact the suite was probably bigger than our mobile home😋. The kitchen area really surprised us -had everything you needed to cook if you wanted and a little dishwasher! The little box in the kitchen with sponge, d/w tablet, cleaning wipe and sachet of w/up liquid and tea towel/torchon was so well thought out. Can t tell u the no of places we ve stayed in fr where nothing is supplied. V irritating so well done to the sensible person who thought to include these! The only thing kitchen lacked was a coffeemaker- it was the first time we 've seen a kettle rather than a coffee maker in our many travels around Fr. But not a big deal as the hotel is beside a fantastic bakery Le Fournil St Honore which does take away coffee, freshly squeezed OJ and freshly baked breads, pastries etc. Perfect base to explore the wonderful city of Toulouse. Thank you!

Ibis Toulouse Purpan

Toulouse West
I stayed here before an early flight and (to be honest) was nervous about staying here/the quality of the room/noise etc. I spent a while comparing hotels in the area (incl a number of other Ibis hotels) as I really wanted a kettle/coffee machine in the room but didn't want to spend more than 50 EUR for a short stay and 5am start. The Ibis Purpan was so much better than expected - free parking, friendly check-in (despite it being just past 10pm), room (3rd floor) was warm, quiet, very clean, spacious, lovely bathroom with a powerful hot shower, very comfy bed, USB charging points. It looked recently renovated. What Ibis lacks is the kettle/tea/coffee and bathroom extras (there's a shower gel/hand soap attached to the wall but nothing more) but I nwasn't prepared to pay double the price for these luxuries. The 50 EUR I saved went towards a nice coffee and croissant at the airport :-). The tram makes aiport access really easy.

I cannot speak too highly of the management and senior staff of this hotel. My wife and I left our car in the hotel car park when we went on vacation in USA. Because of Covid-19 the hotel had to close down before our return and, in addition, our return was delayed by over 2 months because of the virus and the cancellation of flights. The hotel was still closed down when we eventually returned. As soon as the hotel management under the leadership of Mme Céline CONGE realized that the hotel had to close and that our car was locked up in its car park the Manager of Accommodations, Laetitia PEYRE de LESCURE immediately contacted us by e-mail. She told us not to worry and that they would take good care of our car until our return …. even though the hotel would be closed. In USA we endured 5 cancellations of our return flights. We kept in close contact with the accommodations manager who was an absolute angel, and she continually expressed empathy and constantly reassured us not to worry. As our return approached, the Restaurant Manager Kim TRUONG checked the car tyres, reconnected and recharged the car battery. This was a great burden off our minds. When we returned over 2 month’s late all we had to do after our stressful Covid-19 experience was to phone the Hotel Manager who arranged for us to have access to our car. I have never come across such amazing customer service in my many years of travelling. We have stayed at Novotel many times and have always found pleasant staff. In addition, this is a really great hotel with an airport shuttle service, and I cannot recommend it enough.
Aparthotel Adagio Toulouse Centre La Grave

Saint-Cyprien
The Aparthotel Adagio Toulouse Centre La Grave is a new hotel, located along the eastern edge of a recently constructed apartment building. My room was spotless--even the stove and microwave were clean! Breakfast was fine for an apartment hotel. Staff members were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is located in St-Cyprien, right across the Garonne River from the center of Toulouse. The area is unambiguously walkable, and there's a Métro stop (along with grocery stores and restaurants) maybe 200 m away. The hotel's excellent location was responsible for the one problem I encountered. The Pont St-Pierre at the end of the street is pedestrian-and-cyclist only between May and October, and, on Friday and Saturday nights, there was a constant stream of noisy, apparently drunken people making an impressive amount of noise on the street below until maybe 3 in the morning. I was able to mitigate the problem by closing the window, so this turned out to be a minor issue. (The fact that the windows are openable was otherwise a positive feature.) The hotel turned out to be an excellent place to stay.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. As I came to training, I will say that the courses are very pleasant and the meals are very valuable With regard to the room, it is very clean but to the rudimentary comfort and old age There is no welcome accessories for a ibis, The hotel is located in the heart of the city , and the city is located in the heart of the city . On breakfast .... everything is frozen even the bread and there is little choice .... With the habit of hotels I confirm that we can find much better in town for the same price This hotel is not true to the reputation of Ibis

Toulouse Left Bank
I thought the location was perfect as it is only 15 minutes from the airport, and about 15 minutes from city centre - tram is right outside hotel, which was brilliant! The hotel is clean but very basic, the only hotel I have ever stayed at with no room service, bed not done the next day and no fresh towels provided other than when you check in. Didn’t expect the bed to be so close to the door when we entered the room and the bed was a small double so didn’t get a great night sleep either. I wish I could give a better review because the staff were all so lovely and welcoming and helpful, but I’m being as honest as I can for others. Karina on check in and throughout our trip was so helpful and friendly- she really gave us good tips on getting around Toulouse and what to see etc. hotel full of friendly, lovely staff but as for the hotel - unlikely to stay here again!
