Stayed at this hotel June 8th / June 15th. Out of the 7 nights we were booked in for evening meal we only ate in the hotel for the first 3 then because of the poor quality of the food we ate out for the remainder of our holiday .Food standard was akin to school dinners as if it had been cooked and kept warm for a long time served mainly with chips.No tea /coffee facilities in room and not possible to get a kettle on request.On arrival the hotel had no record of our booking through TUI and it took almost 3hours to sort problem out,however we were allocated a junior suite as an upgrade which was a perfectly acceptable room.Disappointed in hotel because of food quality

No points for improvement. However, a note about your staff what keeps track of the rooms and the service in the restaurant. You have excellent staff for the rooms and the staff led by Simone in the restaurant is excellent in friendliness and serving us at the table at breakfast and dinner in the evening.

Excellent services, very good breakfast and dinner, very friendly personnel. Value for money. The swimming pool was fantastic. Free parking place, strong WiFi signal in all the areas of the hotel. The room was very clean and warm.

I would suggest this hotel to everyone, without any hesitation!!! Everything has been beyond our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, the personnel service was excellent and the food really delicious. Thank you for the nice hospitality!

I stayed with my family for 10 days in the hotel (3 to 13 of August). We had booked 6 months ago a total of 3 rooms. The surprise on arrival was that our rooms were in an annexe in the middle of the caravans of a campsite (belonging to the same organisation). Noise already early in the morning and smells of common rubbish nearby. The description of our reservation (rooms overlooking a garden in a 4 star hotel) does not match at all with the service offered. The hotel and camping area fit a 2 star level but not a 4 star level. We felt ripped off. A point in favour and of great thanks of our stay was to the restaurant staff, pleasant and helpful.

A stay in Hotel Antico Monastero is very comfortable. Nice rooms, good beds, kind people at the reception as also the waiters en waitresses at the Restaurant and at the Swimmingpool! :-) The Hotel is situated at a lovely place and is very quiet. It takes 5 minutes walk to get at the Garda Lake. An absolutely MUST if you visit the Garda Lake.

Ci siamo recati per una cena a base di pesce di mare. Siamo stati accolti dal maître molto cordialmente. Con professionalità e cortezza, ha fatto di tutto per renderci la serata stupenda. Le pietanze servite di ottima qualità e cucinate ottimamente, sono state accompagnate da un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il servizio al tavolo, accurato. Grazie a tutti. Sicuramente torneremo.

We zijn voor de vierde keer naar Antico Monastero geweest. Fijne mensen bij de receptie. Geweldig om de vooruitgang van dit hotel mee te maken. Wifi en het avondeten zijn duidelijk verbeterd. We komen hier graag terug, een fantastische rustige locatie aan het Gardameer. De kamers en het hotel op zich is heel schoon, er wordt de hele dag gepoetst.

Positiv zu erwähnen ist nur eine Mitarbeiterin an der Reception und die Sauberkeit allgemein. War hatten das Pech, ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof zu bekommen. Unter dem Balkon waren die Müllcontainer (zwar in einem Schuppen) aber trotzdem noch spät abends der Lärm, wenn Flaschen entsorgt wurden und früh morgens kommt dann die Müllabfuhr. Eine Katastophe war für mich das Bett, hatte nach 2 Nächten starke Rückenschmerzen. Eine besondere Erfahrung war das Abendessen. Wir hatten Halbpension. Beim Vorbeigehen im A la carte Restaurant konnten man die tollsten Gerichte erblicken. Leider kommt anscheinend das Essen für die Halbpensionsgäste aus einer anderen Küche! Alles ist sehr fad gewürzt und manchmal war es notwendig auf dem Speiseplan nach zuschauen, was man da eigentlich gerade serviert bekommen hat. Höhepunkt das Dessert: eine Fertigcreme (für mein Gefühl reinste Chemie) in einem Plastikschälchen. Das beste Essen war der kalte Teller (Schinken und Käse), da konnte der Koch nichts falsch machen. Leider ist auch das Personal in diesem Bereich etwas launisch, manchmal durchaus freundlich, am nächsten Tag wieder etwas mürrisch. im Ganzen kann ich von der Halbpension nur dringend abraten
