If you enjoy lying awake at night listening to the local youths’ “moped grand prix,” occasionally featuring some performance shows by slightly older teens who are old enough to drive heavy motorcycles or cars, then this is the campsite for you. If you prefer to sleep at night without being disturbed by the constant noise of mopeds, motorcycles, and cars revving their engines and using the short stretch of road just 20 meters from your caravan as a drag racing *****, then this is NOT the campsite for you. The kids usually wrap things up around 2 or 3 AM. For those wondering: No, we will NEVER be coming back to this campsite. When we’re on holiday, we like to relax and get a good night’s sleep.

Don’t stay here
When we arrived late in the evening, we came to a cabin that was open. It was dark and it was only me and my daughter, so we did not go in to the cabin. We found a number to call when the reception was closed. A security guard answered and he stayed on the phone with us until we had checked the cabin. Not that he could have help us if someone was in there!! When we got all our things inside, we saw that it was dirty, the refrigerator had a very bad smell, there were hair and a lot of dust under the beds and we decided that we would only stay for one night and not the 4 we were planning to stay. We booked a hotel in the middle of the night. When we went to check out, they were closed and they were supposed to be open at that time. So we never got to talk to anyone there and tell them about our experience.

Great for us, but not if you were too picky!
Perfect for what we wanted as a couple with a 3 year old. We didn’t have high expectations, so all good. The cabin was a bit tired and worn and was boiling hot. Shower good and ice box was large. Play park not brilliant and a bit noisy at night!!

The cabin was lovely and the campground was too. Unfortunately we had really loud neighbors so we left at 3:30 am as they were very disruptive.

You can only reserve, and pay immediately, via their website. There are beautiful pictures on it. The reality is different. camping on a very boggy field. The caravan immediately sank into the mud. Unclear which places were available. There was rubbish left behind in various places. And then a 200m walk to the toilet and shower. Ridiculous for this price.

We arrived with our caravan at 5pm on a weekday and the reception was no longer manned. An employee who didn't speak English wanted to give us a key for a cabin and it took some time before I could tell the operator by phone that we had booked a pitch. He was friendly and said we could choose one. We didn't get a code for the washrooms and toilet. The pitches are in the forest across the road from the reception and it seems cozy at first but also shady. When we had chosen one and got out, we noticed that there were broken glass, beer cans and a lot of rubbish/bulky waste scattered around the forest and on the site, so that you couldn't even walk with the dog. There were a few permanent campers who seemed very dubious to us and the whole atmosphere was spooky. Asking money for that was basically ridiculous. We were tired and stayed that night and left the next morning instead of staying three nights. The reception was supposed to be open again at 8am. At half past eight there was still no one there. We never want to go here again and were very relieved when we got a clean, bright spot with great washrooms for the two nights at Lisebergs Camping.

Wir sind mit dem Wohnwagen angereist, wurden auf einen Platz zugewiesen der war im letzten Ecke. Der stand unter Wasser und wir standen lm matsch. Toilette und Dusche waren in einem bauwagen . Wir fanden uns abgeschoben. Der Bus vom Platz fährt nur 2mal am Tag. Für das war das viel zu teuer. Familie Jäger wir empfehlen es nicht weiter!!!

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist super, der Platz leider vermüllt, die Wasserentsorgung funktioniert nicht und die Sanitäranlagen sind zwar noch nicht alt aber leider dreckig und verschimmelt bzw. volle Algen. Das Personal wirkt eher desinteressiert. Zum Glück waren wir nur zwei Nächte da. Das angekündigte WiFi ging auch nicht, da scheinbar keiner das aktuelle Passwort kannte. Für alle, die autark sind und kein Klo/Dusche brauchen ist der Platz aufgrund der Lage super.

Nettes Personal, ruhiger Platz, saubere Sanitäranlagen, tolle Landschaft, klasse Strand. Ein Platz einfach zum Wohlfühlen und die Bushaltestelle für den Bus nach Göteborg auch noch direkt vor der Haustüre. Stressfrei in 45 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum von Göteborg. Wir kommen wieder.
