Bit of a boring ride to Avila. Found Hotel pretty easily, near bus/train station, just over the line on the right. Nice welcome and comfortable room. Authentic Spanish town. Quite warm so cold beer and food in town. Very nice friendly staff, not a lot of English, but I should learn more Spanish! Splendid, nice food and simple breakfasts. Stayed two nights.

My husband and I spent one night at this comfortable hotel. I would like to underline that everybody, there, is very professional: the receptionist, Isabel, the gentleman who served our dinner, and the lady who served our very good breakfast. We highly appreciated the dinner, even if we chose the basic one, which cost as little as 19 euros. We will try to stop there again, if we ever pass near Torrijos. Maria Adorno

Fuimos a celebrar las bodas de oro de mis padres al restaurante. No habíamos ido nunca y nos encantó. La atención fue super buena desde el minuto 1. Días antes les escribí para ver si podían guardarme unos detalles para mis padres y no me pusieron ninguna pega, mil gracias. Pedimos de carta de verano para comer: jamón de cebo ibérico con regañas (muy bueno), torreznos caseros hechos al momento con patatas revolconas (los pedimos sin las patatas porque no nos gustan, los torreznos de 10), croquetas de gambones (increíbles), pulpo con patata asada, boletus, emulsión de perejil y salsa de vino tinto de Méntrida (la emulsión de perejil no nos sabía mucho la verdad, muy rico aunque la ración era pequeña a nuestro parecer), secreto de cerdo ibérico con patatas asadas al romero y salsa chimichurri (muy rico, nos encantó), y de postre pannacotta con frutos rojos (los frutos rojos eran en helado y estaba de vicio) y tarta de queso con salsa de caramelo salado (muy buena pero nos sobraba el caramelo). Het hotel ligt aan de rand van de stad. Zeer vriendelijk personeel overal. Gratis parkeerplaats, snelle goed wifi. Mooie grote kamer die wel wat muf en naar rook rook. Goede bedden, mooie badkamer met wel een half kapotte douche. Lekker en degelijk ontbijt
