A great country pub where the rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly and the food was amazing. A really pleasant stay

Great location for the south-west coast path. Room comfortable but the quality of the service, food and drink was outstanding. Breakfast menu and dinner in particular had a broad range of locally sourced foods that were cooked and prepared beyond our expectation. Wine and beer choices were equally as impressive. We've travelled quite a bit in North Devon and this is a gem of a place.

Stayed 2 nights at the Hoop Inn, bed extremely comfortable, staff all attentive and friendly.
Evening meal was excellent and the breakfasts set us up for the day.
Plenty of safe off road parking.
I would highly recommended and will be looking to book again if we are visiting Devon in the future.

We will definitely use this Inn again!
An overnight stay in room 2 which is directly above the bar and alongside the road however we still slept really well. The room was spacious and had a jacuzzi bath✅.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was too.
We had our evening meal there and the food was terrific.
There is also a very pretty garden for some afternoon beers.
We will definitely be going back.

Staff were very obliging to accommodate a very late check-in( during the early hours of the morning) due to car troubles along the way. Breakfast was excellent . Room lovely.

Good value for money
Very reasonable priced stay which included a hearty breakfast. Clean, well run hotel and will definitely stay again.
